I'll have to take a look at this tonight. I'm quite interested to see what they say.

Yes I thought he went a little over board with the economics I doubt any one knew wtf he was talking about(or understand his accent along with complex formulas?)
At least is Bitcoin press +1 to that.

there were some threads about that congress (ok mostly german ones it seems)

also there is a major thread which addresses the scalability criticisms.

so now everyone interested in that thread has to dig for it (20 people?) instead of just one person: YOU! ;-)

Beginning good.

Please ignore the economic analysis.

Dude doesn't have any expertise in economic analysis. Should be embarrassed to present crap like that in front of a live audience.

Discussion of Poisson process fit also garbage.

These two academicians compiled data from blockexplorer.com; where all bitcoin transactions are recorded, were able to put out some interesting statistics, and termed bitcoin as "diamonds" rather than a currency (diamonds get traded as well). They make references to this very forum, in one instance, how they could retrace bitcoin transactions to some users. Curious to know what users here think since this video never popped up in a topic.

I was not able to verify if this was previously posted in a topic. But was wondering if anyone has seen this youtube video by two academicians analyzing bitcoin, and its potential future. Its one hour long, and quite interesting I might add.
