The opportunity in Bitcoin for 2016 will be picking up all the cheaper coins when they become available. We will not see these cheap prizes for a while after the Halving. The

competition coming from the banks and their private ledgers will become heated, but the people will soon see the difference between a glorified "Mainframe" and a proper

decentralized trust-less public network {Bitcoin Blockchain} The real value is not the technology, but rather in the way you implement it and what the public wants.  Wink

You are Mike Hearn's followers! It doesn't matter! Many ppl have different opinions and you can dump Bitcoin! Some ppl are picking up your dumped coins! The price is bouncing back a bit! Bitcoin will go through this tediou block increase debate! You  will regret today's decision!

I still believe in the power of decentralisation of bitcoin protocol. Bitcoin is growing and these are the perfect challenges to allow non-believers to realise what bitcoin actually is.

Mike Hearn abandoned working on bitcoin to go and work on a private blockchain the banks want developing. The banks pay his wages now so his opinion is biased towards supporting their private blockchain project, and attacking bitcoin. Mike Hearn's opinion is paid for by the banks and not reliable.

Negative rating was requested by me (SFR10)
I don't think anything would change even after Mike Hearn left it since AFAIK developers have to follow the things Satoshi put a note on since he did everything in advance so other developers would have to follow it until the end and no harm has been made, even if some leave.

Bitcoin and blockchain be doomed, or a real-world opportunity in 2016?

Analysis: Speculation rife around the cryptocurrency's future after outburst from key developer.

Bitcoin is doomed. Over centralised. Under powered. Fundamentally flawed. That, at least, is the view of Mike Hearn, who until recently was a prominent developer in the cryptocurrency who has abandoned working on it to focus on other things, as he sees the problems and insurmountable.

It leaves the questions, where next for bitcoin?
