Well for this, we can't be really sure. If it didnt increase last year festival season that does not means it will not increase  this year.
But looking at it in other way, bitcoin can't be compared to the normal countries currency because it is not accepted in some country.
So let's just say it might or might not affect it.

I like to ask if there is any correlation between bitcoin and festive seasons. For instance, I understand that during major festive season, just as Christmas is approaching, the exchange rate for paper money especially dollars, euro and pounds exchange for local currency usually increases to the favour of the foreign currencies. So my question is, do that happen that bitcoin also increases in major festive period? Like Christmas....
BTC trading is happening worldwide. Not all cultures celebrate christmas. So major festive season would not affect the price in a major way. That´s the think with decentralization and globalization, it´s difficult for a particular country or culture to have a major impact.
You do have a point on here pal.Not all country would celebrate christmas which means feastive season cant really affect bitcoins price but if we do look on the chart when the 4th quarter of the year approaches prices do tends to go up.Try to look on charts and you know what i mean specially now on last quarter of this year where fork happens this would be an another major event on bitcoin.

Looking at bitcoin's price chart, the price may have peaked at the end of every year except 2014.

Common reasons to explain this could be black friday, massive seasonal sales at the end of the year, increased demand on christmas and holiday shopping. More farfetched attempts at explanation could be things like cooler winter temperatures cool ASICs and GPUs more efficiently requiring less electricity to power the blockchain, more time spent indoors to trade crypto and engage in bitcoin activity.

I guess so that festive seasons are making a good help for the price of bitcoin  it's the season where everyone has something to buy and forced to give gifts to the people they would love. And Christmas season is also a month of sharing and love as we believed. Some would probably ask their parents, wives and friends to buy them some bitcoin as a Christmas present, this is my speculation it might be wrong in your thinking as we have our own different opinions.

The effect of festive periods on the value of Bitcoin isn't very notable to say the least. The Bitcoin chart on coinmarketcap.com representing the last few years doesn't show any influence of holidays like Christmas on BTC. I assume the sell-off in december 2013 after the most recent ATH back then wasn't related to the month december itself. And yes, crypto is a global thing and that kinda washes away any effects of local/regional holidays.

Since festive season like Christmas has influence the value of fiat currency like dollars, pounds, euro definitely it will affect the market value of bitcoin in a positive way and there is no doubt about it. am of the believe that by middle of december bitcoin value will reach unexpected value as a result of the festive demand for bitcoin.

I observed this last year, every Christmas season people are keep on spending their money because it's a time not to be a miser. And it's a time where there are companies that are very generous to their employees and giving out bonuses and so most of the bitcoin people are spending those bonuses to buy bitcoin. It makes the price of bitcoin higher because of the demand coming from this example that I gave, so yes there's an effect on festive seasons that make the price higher.

If only China pronouncement of a ban on crypto currency activities could affect the value of Bitcoin and other currency, I believe festive season like Christmas should be able to influence the of Bitcoin positively. This is because there is going to be high demand for Bitcoin and crypto currency which will definitely affect Bitcoin price positively.

I like to ask if there is any correlation between bitcoin and festive seasons.

for what I saw last year in poloniex had few members online in the month of December and the price of bitcoin fell a little, many people take vacations to spend with the family of what is in front of the computer to make trade at Christmas.

do not take my post as something right, you should do more research to get better answers to your question

With bitcoin each and every days is a festival. The reason is that the one with good knowledge as well the one with good luck profits big depending upon the investment the user has made using bitcoin. The days of large scale price variations gets added to the most special festive season. Because those days will be enjoyed bug by the users.

For me I think it will affect the price of Bitcoins and other cryptocurrency coins as I witnessed myself the increase of price of bitcoin after the Christmas and New year in 2016, after the thanks giving and following of the Christmas and New year the price of Bitcoin is fluctuated in $1000 mark and it is a good start for it that is resulted for today's price.

When there is an event to celebrate of, people tend to spend much more compare to the months that there is no big celebrations is happening, so for me it is a big factor also for cryptocurrency market. I am not so sure about this but that is what I think and witnessed last year I hope that it will happen again because a good start of a year will surely affect until the end of each year.
