In Moscow, for a long time there have been cryptomats, in which you can exchange cryptocurrencies for fiat money. And in general, Russia is an advanced country in the blockchain sector.

Crypto growth will further be exposed to the world via the world cup. Before now, Russia has been a big supporter in bitcoin usage, so I expect more usage apart from paying of hotel fees.
Bitcoin is increasingly playing its role in many areas around the world, there are many e-commerce corporations and many other services have accepted the bitcoin payment. Russia is a country with a very well developed cryptocurrency market so I do not feel weird when the 2018 World Cup uses bitcoin to pay for many services. I am very happy that I can use bitcoin to pay for the World Cup 2018 service in Russia.

Actually I think that it is kinda possible because prices on everything are kinda tough now.

It sounds good in theory but in practice watch the usage be barely any at all. It is an ironic catch 22 that we want more Bitcoin adoption yet are hoarding Bitcoin and won't spend it. Something has to give and I believe if people want to see Bitcoin being accepted in more places, then we should put up or shut up.

Guys, what do you think about FIFA world cup 2018 which will be in Russia? Whether they will sell the ticket use bitcoin and altcoins? If yes, I hope the price will bullish. In addition to the tickets, we can use bitcoin for what else? maybe like hotels, restaurant, or betting? Can you add something else?

Betting. That is 100 percent sure that will happen.
The gambling industry using crypto currency is non stop so it will be a bet of the year.
Perhaps, after this NBA Finals there will be larger bets for they wont be dividing their bets for other games. I will surely look into that.
Maybe a pump could happen with LTC, ETH and BTC which are mostly used for the bets and they are the just the options added by gambling sites.

I believe that the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia will not affect the price of bitcoin, you can see that this is a sport that many people are interested in and notice around the world. It is unlikely that bitcoin prices will be affected. I think you should focus and plan your trade, because in my opinion bitcoin in the future will be very strong.

I think that this event will not affect the bitcoin, you can see this is annual sports activities and every four years, I believe the bitcoin price will still go along with its orbit. will continue to decline in the coming months. I believe the bitcoin price will return to $ 1000 or even lower. So at this point you should immediately plan your investment.

What stops you from selling your coins and buying aa ticket for fiat? Even if sellers accept crypto they will probably use some kind of service like bitpay and will instantly change it to fiat because they will hardly need those coins in future.
The other thing that could be seen with crypto and world cup is something like a bitcoin betting on football matches. Most of betting websites are already accepting it but I havent seen anything using smart contracts for betting.

Those would be great news of course, but I doubt it will ever happen. FIFA World Cup is a massive event, and even though I like bitcoin a lot, I don't think it's ready for that kind of adoption yet. They would not risk using a payment system that is not yet regulated worldwide. It would also depend on how the lightning network evolves, but it will probably remain in it's "beta state" by the time of the World Cup, since we are only a few months away.

The latest bill wanted to treat bitcoin as financial assets and not a payment tool.
Besides, it's not about Russia but about the services that tourists will use.

The Russian government can legalize bitcoin, but this can't force a hotel to accept bitcoin payments , credit and debit cards are legal in all Europe for ages but there are still hotels where you have to pay cash.

This article is also full of this kind of mistakes:
https://www.ccn.com/russia-allows-cryptocurrency-payments-for-hotels-during-fifa-world-cup-2018/

Quote
Luckily for crypto users, Kaliningrad, one of the cities hosting the matches, is now offering cryptocurrency payments for hotel rooms.Buying Business Travel Russia reported that Apartments Malina has teamed up with the online payment system, Free-Kassa, to allow users to purchase rooms with cryptocurrencies.

It's not Kaliningrad who is offering services in Bitcoin, Kaliningrad is just the region, it's all down to that hotel chain who is accepting cryptocoins.

Vladimir Putin said their country official should make bitcoin and crypto usage as legal before this June. I hope we will be able to see the option to purchase the tickets on online with bitcoins and few alts.
Then we may able to get the bitcoin ATMs on the Russia airports like Japanese done.
If the government did not make this as a legal one also you can use the crypto gambling for betting.
I'm very excited about that. If we see in the year of 2017 after Japan announced that bitcoin is legal in their country as payments, the price goes to the moon and I hope the next big country will announce a good news too.

Without bitcoin, I feel the world of cryptocurrency will be bored. I can wait no longer to hear a good news once FIFA World Cup 2018 near opened.

do not overly optimistic about this one my friend.
Bitcoin might be got pumped so hard in 2017 because of those news, but did you realize that many people got stucked at the top ?
so i doubt something like this will happen(people felt afraid of it and kept waiting).
in my opinion,at best it will only bring us to around $15.000 no more than that.
because 2018 is the year for Bitcoin to recover some of its value, just like what it did before

I think Russia want to make a statement to the world with the event and crypto will be a very useful tool to achieve that. Waves founder Sasha mentioned talk of a World Cup token a while back in one of the presentations, but never really clarified what it was about, so yea I think it is possible
