welcome maxine

In terms of my practice. The first coin I bought is sushi and I earned some money from it. Then its price plunged so I sold most of them for the purchase of other mainstream coins, such as ETH, ETC, LTC. Of course, I bought Bitcoin as well. I read some articles saying HODL is very hard to do, besides, I believe all coins I bought are of value. So even though I lost money, I hadn't sold any of them, I bought some a little Bitcoin at $30k. I don't regret for what I've done. I believe in these coins, esp, Bitcoin.
care to elaborate what your thinking was behind buying sushi? why did you buy it? and why did you buy the other "shitcoins"?

i don't want to sound rude, but when i read your post, i saw you mentioning "believing" multiple times. in bitcoin there is the saying "don't trust, verify". in my opinion that is the opposite of believe. i can't quite understand why people buy things (also bitcoin - not only "shitcoins"), is it because they read something or it feels right?

Come on, brother, I am also a newcomer. Coincidentally, I started with SUSHI first, and I still hold it, and I still hold XMR next. Of course, I must have used part of my funds and it will not affect my normal life.

There are many heroes and legendary members on the Bitcoin forum who read a large number of posts every day and reply to a large number of posts to those in need. Of course, they will also report and delete some low-quality and meaningless posts because of their selfless efforts. Bitcoin forums are more valuable.

Just like you said, Ratimov is a very respectable person. You can read his 2nd anniversary post, recording how he became a hero member, which is worth learning.

it's great that you didn't sell your SUSHI and you're a rational person to prevent coins from affecting your normal life. Stick to it! I tried to report some low-quality posts once, but it turned out to be a bad beginning. I'll try it later and be more careful. I believe I have read his anniversary post but didn't find that link. Embarrassed

Scroll down to the bottom left of the page -> select "move topic" and then select the Beginners and Help board to move it there.

Alternatively just click the "report to moderator" button under your post and ask them to move it there themselves.
wow~it helps. Thank you very much, now this thread is in beginners & help thanks to you. a new skill I learned here
Bitcoin and me (Hal Finney). Another "Bitcoin and me" topic and it is from Hal Finney, the first receiver of Bitcoin transactions from Satoshi Nakamoto.

I am impressed that you spent a half of year to learn. It is very impressive and I wish you luck in your crypto adventure and in the forum community.

Yes, I remember Finney's post and I read it maybe last year. When I wrote my passage, "Bitcoin and me" simply popped up in my mind, possibly my memory about Finney made that happen. His story is longer and inspiring though I forgot about the content. Thanks for these links, I read one of them before. I'll share an old link I just found today, maybe it can do you some good

Now I found myself interested in crypto tech. I'm learning about it.

bitcoin and I, are a bond that leads to a better life, for sure if there is a will there is a way, God alone will never change the behavior of his creatures before he tries to change his own thorns, if we focus and believe, there are certainly many support us, and the people on this forum are happy to teach us, the important thing is that everything starts with ourselves first, effort, prayer, and patience, are our keys to success..

Hello, everybody.
I'm Maxine from America. I teach English in Japan with master's degree. Last year I happened to know about blockchain and Bitcoin. It's been several days since the last time I posted here, I just arrived Japan days earlier and the quarantine just finished. Grin (time in the hotel were extremely boring...I slept a lot)
Since Bitcoin came into my life, I began reading in this forum and I spent half a year leaning here in that I didn't know what to say at first, so there's no need to have an account. Last month, I created my own account, truly started my journey there. I wanna be visible here and talk with so many people I admire, to communicate with them.

I wrote this passage to introduce myself to you. In addition, I wanna know if there's anyone who has similar experience with me. My faith in my coins didn't collapse but I'm afraid it would waver and I couldn't help selling some of them
anyway, glad to meet you here. I'm a newbie. Let's make progress together. BTW, I really think highly of those who are making great contribution to this forum and I congratulate them on their success.
I really appreciate your advice and devotion for everyone in this forum. You're my role model.
Bitcoin renders me get a glimpse of a new era and this forum leads me into a new subject!
Uhnnnn...I should have posted this passage in beginner & help board. Sad
sorry, maybe the moderator can help and move this post to beginner & help board. thanks
That's what I did before as you do now. I used to read a lot of things just to convince myself to be able to dare to invest in cryptocurrencies, in the end I am now confident and brave so I have prepared myself when experiencing losses and gains. . Indeed, everything must be thought out carefully so as not to regret it later. Hopefully bitcoin can bring a good future for us.
