Pretty much yes just as a services payment - affect on pricing and the medical industry as a whole I have no idea - but hospitals like to save money don't they. Reducing payroll costs etc could get them interested.

All speculation of course.

I can't see any possible affect on surgery or medicine by bitcoin, other than the possibility of it being accepted as a payment for those type of services. But even then I highly doubt it will ever dominate the market in that case. Just my opinion

As a future surgeon I was curious if bitcoin could affect the medical industry in the future. Any speculation?
