Today the ripple  (XRP) rose up, and  I was seeing the  charts and   comparing eth - btc   with  ripples

I have  seen that   when bitcoin fell down  Ripple  grows up.

Is there  any kind of inverse correlation (in general)  between BTC and XRP?

Ripple is not a decentralized cryptocurrency. So it is not going to be swayed by the things that influence Bitcoin. But there won't be negative correlation between the 2; at best the correlation will be zero.

Don’t try to look for things like that because there is no correlation at all since correlation does not imply causation, I think you are suffering from something illusory correlation in which something seems to be the cause of something but it is not true.

No, there is no special correlation between bitcoin and ripple but there is sometimes same and reverse direction correlation between bitcoin and altcoins. Ripple must have risen due to the a certain reason.

This is the reason https://twitter.com/Ripple/status/900026816429121536
