FYI, BitPay is also a free service/API; it's just that they offer another plan where they take a micro-cut of your transactions. Well worth the upgrade, unless you need that single-digit cut.

Blockchain.info is buggy in every aspect; I haven't used their API but I'd imagine it's horrible, judging from their wallet service. Just use the BitPay one, since I have no idea why you'd opt to use the blockchain.info one. They're both free.

The confirmation amount usually depends on the amount that you're receiving. If it's something like 0.01BTC, then sure. But if you're dealing in the thousands of BTC, then you'll probably want to wait for a much larger amount of confirmations, yes.

Hi,
i want to use free bitcoin api e.g blockchain.info or coinpayments.net on my website. i am comparing them with bitpay.

i realize that when my customers send money from their bitcoin wallets to my bitpay api payment through my website. The money always comes in and number of confirmations arrive very fast.

But with free api some time some payments stay unconfirmed and then sent back to its original sender.

is there anyone else facing such problem with blockchain api ? is there any advance blockchain api which does not have such problem ?

should i deliver order to my clients after 1 confirmation ? is this a wise idea? some clients dont want to wait for 3 or 4 confirmations. with blockchain , some time it take ages to reach 3 confirmations.

Please Guide me well on that .
