A simulation is good to let the newbie users have the actual transaction of sending and receiving bitcoin. But a video will do as a tutorial if it's doing too much for you. Thank you for making such app which will help a lot of newbies to gain knowledge about bitcoin and cryptocurrencies.
I wish you get a lot of support for your app.

I appreciated the time OP spent to build up the knowbitcoin app for newbies but everyone can use the app. Although the very good initiative by OP, I personally don't want to install app (this one) or any app on my mobile devices. I would like to use them on web browser and on computer.

Let's consider my post as my suggestion for you: If you can, please build up a web version for KnowBitcoin.
Same mate, I don't want to install any app now rather than OP can give us a website link where we have found all the things which mentioned on app. Installing app and give the permission from device isn't a good thing as I believe. So it can be considered for the people who willingly not want to go for app. Kindly update it with sites and it will be smooth and easy to know shortly.
If it's just a guide then I think the web version alone is enough, no need to make an application, maybe ordinary people are a little confused about how to operate it, well I won't install this application even though the OP has told me the truth I don't want to make time just to operate it. Of course, that's why from the web version I think a lot of support is flowing.

A nice app for introducing bitcoin to a beginner, It will save a lot of time and effort to teach a newbie about basic info of bitcoin. You should try to do some translation in different language for your content so that it will be more user friendly to all country and can you decrease the size of the pop-up ads when you click back. I find it annoying especially when I'm browsing the content and accidentally click the back button of my phone. Overall its a good app but it needs some improvement on aesthetics.  Smiley

This is indeed a nice initiative but I would request you to make a webpage as well because most of us are a bit hesitant to install any application eventhough this would be useful for newbie but a wider range of prefer a webpage. Please trying making a webpage as this would target wider audience. Keep up the good work.

Nah. There are information on websites already. The essence of the app is to get these information together into a simple app. So, sorry as the idea is as simple as an app.

All this sounds great, but I don't get one thing.
Why a smartphone app is better and more helpful than an informative article, that you post online,or a Youtube video?I think that a really informative Youtube video can do a great job for educating the newbies about the pros and cons of Bitcoin. The effort of creating such video would be way less, compared with coding a smartphone app.
I guess that today's young people are more used to downloading and installing apps from Google Play and the Appstore, rather than searching on Google and Youtube. It's all about laziness. Grin

Well in the world where a system full of confusions to be made it is a nice way where we can get something to rely on whenever questions will be made. Based on experience  here when I was new I totally did not understand any things about bitcoin and how it worka until I get an altcoin and then traded to bitcoin. If I was not being thought by my friend then I would'nt be here anymore.

I was expecting to get an image in your post on how the app would look like. But I admire your works and effort OP this you are leading the newbie to right place to learn using the app. There more newbies wanting to learn and I believe in that. It is just that difficult for them to learn instantly about bitcoin so it just really needed an app like OP did made or propose for them. Why not askt theymos to acknowledge the app so that it can be integrated here in the forum?

The simulation thing sounds quite good. It's a confusing part of cryptocurrency qhne you first get into it trying to interpret the base 58 stuff...

Are you just targeting for beginners only? If not you could look at covering the lightning network and if you don't yet the omni layer (used for many things including usdt/tether).

A few of you may remember me and the 'Know Bitcoin' app. Since the initial release, I have made one update and still looking forward to making more. Quick info on what the app is, The 'Know Bitcoin' app is an app I created in other to help newbies understand what bitcoin really is. The app firstly talks about cryptocurrency, then bitcoin, a little history, and price history, then moves on to showing users how to create a wallet. Some other features of the app include bitcoin price (from coindesk), and recent bitcoin news. I was thinking about adding a feature in which newbies can practice the sending and receiving of bitcoin using something that isn't going to cost them money. I mean simulation stuff (like the fake ethereum), but in this case for bitcoin. Any suggestion of things to add would be appreciated.
