Hallo,

Erstmals entschuldigung fur mein schlechtes Deutsch.

I have the following idea, but I did not start the project yet because I want to be informed about the tax rules regarding this first. I have noticed that, especially since November, there have been some big gaps between the bitcoin (and other crypto coins) rates between exchanges. For example a couple of weeks ago 1 BTC was worth 11.300 euro on the one exchange, and about 12.300 on another. My plan is to buy bitcoins (or other crypto currencies) at the cheapest exchange with enough liquidity via my bank account, and then transfer them to the exchange with the highest selling value, and then immediately sell them there and pay out in Euros to my bank account This, after deduction from fees, would certainly bring me a nice profit of in this case 800-900 euro per 1 BTC. That is about 7-8%. And then after this transaction I would do it again and again and again. Just as in a circle, I would do this over 50 times a year if possible. Ofcourse it can become less in the near future, but I'm pretty sure there will always be a couple of percentages of easy winnings to make between exchanges. However, how would the Finanzamt tax this? Would it simply be seen as income from a Freiberufler? Would the total of the profit I made per year be considered as capital gains? Or possibly would it be more advantageous to start a company for this?
Do any of you have an idea about this or even experience?
Ofcourse I could ask my tax advisor, but that would be pretty stupid because they charge a lot and need many hours to invest in a case like this because they have no experience with cryptocurrencies at all.

Vielen Dank!
