Greetings, everyone!

I am very new to the reality of bitcoins. As a teacher in the public schools, I have been looking for ways to generate funds for our music programs in my city. I'm really tired of pushing candy bars, fruit, wrapping paper, & other overpriced items to a community that is hit frequenly with multiple funding requests in challenging economic times. How would I go about allowing my school's music programs to be funded by bitcoin donations? Is this possible? I am very excited about the potential, & I see this as a way for the bitcoin to gain more exposure & validity in the general public.

Thanks for your time & advice! I'm going to also post this in one more thread, in case this isn't the correct thread for this discussion.
