Farmers are losing a large part of their profits to third party agents and payment processors. Bitcoin is a small step to prevent this exploitation.

Sorry if this is the wrong board to post.

So today Dave and I set up shop at the local farmers market in Bardon Brisbane Australia, talking about and trading bitcoins!   I was a bit unsure about if we would get anyone who knew about BTC, let alone buy some.    To my surprise the day was a success.  We only sold about $50 of BTC to 4 clients, but where impressed by the warm reception and good conversations had, and the level of awareness out in the general public.  Also surprisingly, was the number of women who purchased BTC.

We where even contacted by a local tv station on Thursday who said they might send down a camera.  Alas, they didn't Sad

First customer.

Thanks to Dave for organising the day out.
