Further Update...

This user's affiliation with the Local Gold store chain is over. I've spoken with the owner in relation to the above mistake and he simply explained she was screwing them around.

I'm now ready to scream Scheme. I'd run from this one if you can guy's Smiley

The gold shop's were where she sold most of her coin's, and made most of her cash. She only sell's locally now with an 18% markup.

The ATM in Winnipeg will offer roughly 6%.

Good luck getting your money back, I have her Cell number if you have been scammed/or get scammed, and need it.

Okay let's clarify this RIGHT here.

Canuckgrl is NOT associated with Coinfest OR the ATM.

She was approached about the ATM and flat out told me she has ZERO interest in buying one, it's a waste of money.

So all of you thinking your going to get big returns from her ATM can keep dreaming.

I believe she is selling locally and giving back some profit, so I can't scream Ponzi, but she has NO atm.

BitTeller is NOT affiliated with this thread!

I made a point of Txting her last week to remind her to pay you guy's....

In case anyone is interested. I can verify the legitimacy of there physical location and there business.
I personally visited their FORT KNOX style location. BARS EVERYWHERE.

I was surprised I did not get frisked but being this is Canada, that would be rude. I'm sure though that some kind of hidden automated turret machine gun hidden in the wall was watching my every move.

Also, I met with one of the partners who was very pleasant and accommodating.
CanuckGal was not there at the time as I'm sure she is very busy with things such as the Coinfest event and unavailing of the ATM on the 15th of feb. For more info on coinfest in winnipeg go to http://btcwpg.com/.

Happy Bitcoin.

update: apparently this has nothing to do with coinfest or bitteller and is smelling allot like a scam. No hard feelings towards the people at the gold store i met. The were very nice. Sounds like they may have been getting screwed with as well.

I am going to really focus on advertising this week, and moving inventory quickly.

Seems like the above actions are the main reason why dividends have not yet been paid. Probably by the end of the week we shall receive them Wink

Divs being sent out now.

Dividends received Smiley

I am going to really focus on advertising this week, and moving inventory quickly. Over the weekend, I met up with a few other local Bitcoin enthusiasts who are planning on bringing an ATM into the city as well. I think Bitcoin is going to become a trendy item in Winnipeg over the next 9 months or so, and we want Winnipeg Bitcoin, to be the main name of the buzz. Smiley

How is the ATM project going really? Did you place an order for it? What is the time frame?

We had a pretty good week, and I doubled the dividends as a christmas bonus to our current investors Smiley

Welcome back and happy new year Wink And I though you were on vacation or something Cheesy

Anyway. Glad to have you back. We did receive the payment Grin Grin Grin. However, you need to explain the above double payment to us. Was it a bonus (meaning something extra than what we agreed, meaning you still owe us one more dividend) or a prepayment for the 30/12/2013 (meaning you owe us nothing)?

Good morning & a happy New Year to everyone Smiley

Although the days are special, I promised to report the progress of weekly dividend payments. Dividends were supposed to be sent to our accounts on the 31/12/13, but until now, I have seen nothing in mine Sad Unless the Christmas bonus of the 24/12/13 was in fact, a pre-payment for this week.

I guess canuckgal will inform us of the above.

I have a meeting this week with another local bitcoiner-er to discuss the possibility of expanding into mining. Not BTC mining, I'm thinking LTC, as we have had some demand for LTC over the last few weeks, and since the price is up to $30 a piece, its something we can't ignore.

Business name is registered, and we are going to put up some advertising to do a soft launch at all 3 stores. It's really happening, I want to thank everyone for their help and support.  One minor change, is that our company is officially called "Winnipeg Bitcoin" to go along with our gold stores.

Very good news. Decentralized currencies is the new trend. Everybody is fed up with banks and their fees and policies, so I think you are set for an optimal start  Wink
And hopefully, the success will be enough, to boost our dividends in some months time  Smiley

Few minutes ago, I sent a payment to purchase 1 bond in this company. I will keep posting every week, so that others can see that canuckgal is paying the dividents as promised (I hope Tongue).

I wish every success. I will be in touch Wink.

Sounds good to me! I want to be honest and transparent.

I haven't updated in a while, but ive expanded to two more locations in the city, as well as sell online through Local Bitcoins. We are receiving an amazing response and are growing at an excellent rate.

I still have some shares available, 0.50btc each, with a guaranteed dividend of 0.01btc every Monday, or more depending on the previous weeks sales. At the moment, we are recycling all funds back into our float, so all the past dividends have just been the minimum.

I found a website designer to make a new site, and should hopefully have it up and running in the next few days.

That sounds like some mighty greedy numbers AFAIC.
Good luck with "demand" when you're charging a MINIMUM of 5% per transaction.

I redid the website a bit so we can have orders from customers to pick up from our store on Saturday.  For now we are going to be offering Bitcoins for sale every Saturday.

A lot of the people who came in, said that they saw this post, and asked about investing in our venture!  It's off to an amazing start.

(Hello to my friends to came by today!)

I redid the website so customers can place a tentative pre-order www.bitcoinwpg.com

Tomorrow is the big day!

I'm currently printing out 70 paper wallets, which I'll be funding 0.05 BTC on each, and selling each wallet for about $45 (Current rate + 15%).  We are estimating a profit of $350 which will be reinvested back into our float.

Here's a prototype, the address on there is just a throwaway. I have been making the wallets offline on my other PC.

We are up to $8000 in orders for saturday, which would equal about $450 in misc fees.

My offer for shares at 0.50 a piece paying min 0.01 dividends per week, first payout is on Monday.

I am meeting with a few cash investors here in the city, so we might be close to the full 60 shares needed and then ill be able to close the public offering,

We will be opening our in person Bitcoin exchange on Nov 25 with dividends to be paid out on Nov 27, the dividends will directly reflect the amount of business we have.

We are charging a $5 currency conversion fee, plus a 3% fee, and limiting each transaction to a maximum of $250. With the maximum transaction, we will be making $12.50 per transaction.

The dividends that we will be paying on Sunday, will be a guaranteed minimum of 0.01 per share.

November 25 will be an excellent opportunity to explore the local market and gauge the demand.

Advertising is to begin within the next day, and we hope to have an excellent turn out.

The shares are manually tracked by myself, and I am accountable for all funds. I created a WOT rep under the same name Canuckgal. But it doesn't have much info, just confirming who I am, hopefully I'll be able to show I am a legitimate hard working person.

Thank you to all our supporters, and anyone else interested in supporting us, please email [email protected] for more information!

Just paid 0.50 this weekend for a share. When are you guys going to start paying dividends and how many shares are left?

i would be cautious with investing here... he still hasn´t provided proof that he is in fact affiliated with
the Bitcoin ATM in Vancouver

Well, she isn't affiliated:

We are not affiliated with the team who opened the Vancouver ATM.  We are using the same supplier (Robocoin), but are not affiliated with any Vancouver residents.

We have a proper website for the Gold Store, which is http://www.winnipeggoldbuyer.com/, the Bitcoin expansion is not yet on the site, but will be in the next few days.

Our team is not looking for donations, I apologize for my poor attempt at the Wix site which has a Donation Form. We are looking for investors.

So at this time, we are going to offer 60 shares for 0.50 BTC each, which represents 25% of our Bitcoin division, with a guarantee of 0.01 BTC dividends each week.

Right now we are offering a guaranteed dividend of .01 BTC per week for each share that you own. We'll be offering 60 shares at 0.5BTC each.

We have slightly changed our business model, which now will begin with us selling Bitcoins in person at our Gold Store, which will allow us to use the profit towards an ATM machine to be shipped in February 2014. (This is the earliest possible date the supplier quoted us).

Can you provide ID or identification of your incorporated company.  After all recent events don't expect to get the BTC you are asking for unless you prove you have nothing to hide.

Thank you so much for posting this, I definitely agree with the majority of what's in the "So you think you want to start a BTC Company", however I don't think WOT is necessary.

I have been an active member on here for over a year, and have two successful Brick and Mortar Cash for Gold stores which I want to be able to trade BTC.

In your article, you want me to give you all of the information, because no one is going to steal my business model.

Help me help you help me make a success. Tell me what I need to do.

Looks like our earliest time frame to install the unit would be in Feb.

So at this time we are going to be setting up a bitcoin kiosk at our Gold store, and manually buy/sell bitcoins. Anyone in the area can come in and say hi and check us out.

We will be accepting cash only.

And since Btc is so volatile my ask for 125 btc is definitely a bit high, but we need some capital to exchange in our store. I do have local investors who are willing to put up the CAD, but id like my brick and mortar store to be active in the online community.

Id like to bring my request down to 30 btc, with a guaranteed interest. Id like to put everything on the table, and make this a great investment for both you (loaning the btc) and myself (supplying the location, customer education, and processing the trades)

We are looking to charge a 5% transaction fee on all trades, with an anticipated volume of $10k per week.

This would be a good offer if you had:
1) Some skin in the game
2) A more detailed business plan
3) A better profit-sharing plan

Love the idea, but asking for 25K for a machine that only costs that much and then keeping 60% to yourself is WAY too high.
This ⬆️

Cut that number in half and I'd buy in.

couple questions.

Where is the business plan or prospectus?
Clean transactions? So you're policing transactions.
what's with free hosting? Couldn't a business of that scale have private hosting.
How do you justify 60% of the profits or startup cost?

well, buyer beware

+1 I am interesting in finding out more. but would be good if you addressed some of peoples concerns publicly.
People just want more informtation to understand. Smiley

It's difficult to ensure all Bitcoins that are being withdrawn are 'clean', and not drug related.

I don't quite follow this.

Yes dividends are to be paid out in BTC.

Thank you to everyone who has bought shares, there are still shares remaining for anyone else who would be willing to help us out.

One thing that is making us hesitant about these machines is US Legislation, we all know that what the USA does, always creates a ripple effect here in Canada.  It's difficult to ensure all Bitcoins that are being withdrawn are 'clean', and not drug related.

Does anyone have any feedback in regards to US Legislation affecting Bitcoins stability?

In case anyone was wondering, the estimated return from buying one share (0.5 BTC) after 12 months is $154.46.  ($96K / 40% / 250 shares)

So you'd get your money back after about 11 months and then it would be profit.

The question is, is that a better use of your 0.5 BTC than just holding onto it in your wallet.

Dividends paid out in BTC, I assume?

It's not clear, because the investment form on your webpage doesn't include a field for investors' bitcoin addresses to receive those dividends.

please have a more detailed "business plan"
from what i gather 250 shares at .5 bitcoin each is 15 bitcoins
at today's rate that is about $26+ in CAD
this covers the cost of the machine 100%
yet the investors are getting 40% of the profits
so you are valuing your services at 60% with no "monetary contribution"
so your expertise and location are worth $35k CAD? and if so that you need to provide a bit more info as to why
i'm sure there will be eager "investors" that will jump in without even caring about anything but for the sake of a "smart investor" a bit more info would go a long way

The ATM will be located in a Gold Shop, where people trade gold for cash.  Meaning we will be the first place that I know of, that will allow customers to trade their old jewellery for Bitcoins!

excellent Krysta thanks for the update. I am keen to get in on a ATM or two. and sounds like guys are making it happen in a grassroots kind of way.  I'll send you my questions later to the email address above.

Are you concerned about the safety of the ATM. is it like in a Mall?

Thank you so much for your interest!

My name is Krysta, and I have been playing around in the Bitcoin world since 2011, I have seen the evolution of Bitcoin, and feel that this is a solid investment for everyone involved.  I have three partners, one of which owns the location where we will place the unit, and my other partners and I have our own specialties in Web Security, Bitcoin Investments, and an Accounting.

Please let me know if you have any questions that I can answer for you.

On November 5, we will be placing the order with Robocoin for a single unit, but depending how this crowd funding goes, we are prepared to set up a second location outside of Winnipeg (possibly Alberta).

We want our Shareholders to be involved in this project, and are willing to give full disclosure of everything.

Recently a Robocoin Bitcoin ATM was installed in Vancouver, Canada with huge success.  Now my team is looking to set up a Bitcoin ATM in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, and another Canadian Location TBD.

We are offering a members of the Bitcoin Community to share ownership of these units.  We are offering 250 shares, at 0.50BTC each.

Previously, our team was selling Bitcoins locally, but we found the demand was too high.  Clients looking to purchase hundreds of Bitcoins at a time.  After testing our local Market, we feel confident in the success of these two new units.  The first ATM unit will be placed in a Gold store, where we currently exchange different types of Fiat from around the world.

We are looking to have the first unit installed by December 1, 2013, with the first Dividends to begin being paid on a weekly basis beginning December 14, 2013.

Dividends will be paid out after two weeks of operation, and will be equal to 40% of the profit. We estimate a volume of $40,000 per week, increasing 5% monthly, with an estimated revenue (profit) of $96,536 after 12 months of running.  We believe these numbers are low estimates, and with Bitcoin rising this may double.

If you would like to be involved in this amazing investment opportunity, please PM me, or visit our website:

Shares can be bought by emailing us at [email protected] and I will provide a BTC Payment Address and ensure we have all your information.

very interesting Smiley.. I am keen to find out more. Your website has no details of the people actually involved in the project.
And details of the ATM purchases. Is this information about to be offered if we sent you PM ?
