Yes, your calculations and conversions are correct. There seems to be a 0.000717025 transaction fee, which is just under $3.00. The reason for the high transaction is that segwit2x hasn't been activated when you transferred.

Thanks for all response...Preferences already set at mBTC..

I transferred about $47 from Coinbase or .011725525 BTC at $4008 or valuation per BitCoin at the time of purchase.

My Electrum Wallet show a receipt of 11.0085 mBTC.  If I understand you correctly, each mBTC = .001 of a BitCoin.

Therefore 11.0085mBTC x.001 of a BitCoin x $4008 = $44.12 or so.  I guess transfer fees are in effect.  Am I figuring this correctly??

Thanks again

Change your units. Electrum defaults to using mBTC; 1 mBTC = 0.001 BTC.

Newbie to system, created Coinbase and Electrum account fine.  For first transaction, went to Coinbase and purchased $50 worth of Bitcoins, a mere fraction of a single coin (0.01172525 BTC).  Once that was successful, wanted to send total to my Electrum wallet.  Unfortunately, I think I screwed up, went to the Electrum Receive tab. put in the receiving address from Coinbase, but I filled out the remaining fields including the Requested amount, which was turned out to be +11.00085???...The transfer from Coinbase eventually went through. Electrum transactions show 42 confirmations, amount received as 11.00085 mBTC, size 226 bytes and fee unknown.  What I actually thought should have been transferred from Coinbase was 0.01172525 BTC.

I don't know if that is correct, am I showing that I have 11 Bitcoins??  I'm sure that is not the case.  I then went to another site, an onliine Poker site and setup a deposit/transfer from Electrum to the website via Bitcoin in the amount of $25 and now Electrum wallet is showing an uncomfirmed transfer in progress from my wallet of -0.59834 leaving a balance of 10.40251.  That seems totally incorrect.  How can I change that or will the balance eventually correct itself and reflect the true $50 Coinbase purchase and the actually transfer of 0.01172525 BTC that I made.

Electrum V2.9.3
Windows 8.1 Pro

Thanks
