If you back up the files from old iPhone and import it into your new iPhone with iTunes only the apps and images or videos could be backup that is why you end up creating a new wallet.

I suggest that if you still had access to your old wallet better to backup your private keys with funds and import it to your new mycelium wallet just don't forget to backup your seed phrase so that you can recover it once you have a new phone again or if you wanted to use your wallet in other wallet providers.

you can also try coinomi wallet they support bitcoin wallet and other altcoins with new and old Segwit addresses.

Not really... I don't have an iOS device. The choices at Bitcoin.org are: https://bitcoin.org/en/wallets/mobile/ios/

I've used Breadwallet (on Android) and it seems "popular". I believe the dev is actually more iOS focused, so it might be a better experience on iOS... and I've seen a couple of recommendations for AirBitz, but I've never used it.

Can't really offer any comments on the others, except that the one time I used Bither on desktop and Android I was not impressed.

It is showing 0 because what you now have is a new empty wallet (with new seed). You need to restore your old wallet from your original seed before you will be able to see the balance. When you first run Mycelium it should give you the option to either "Restore from Backup" or "Create New". You will need to uninstall Mycelium and reinstall it and try again.

Also, Mycelium on iOS has not been properly updated in over a year!!?! Shocked

If all else fails, you can probably restore your Mycelium seed into another BIP39/BIP44 compatible wallet.

Got a new iPhone. Backed up my old one then transferred everything to the new phone including, I thought, my bitcoin balance which was in my mycelium wallet.

tried to access the mycelium app and it wanted to backup or verify. I ended up creating a new wallet with a new seed n all that. Cant find how to access old wallet using old seed.

My balance is showing as 0.

Maybe I'm retarded but I find the mycelium interface confusing as hell, but anyway, any ideas on how I can recover the old wallet? is the balance still there but I just cant see it? I still have one single account but now I have two wallets? What exactly IS a %$#$$%@!!! wallet?

thanks for you help.
