*Bitcoin beats stocks in terms of search popularity in Google. Next time you ceeate a topic title you should also not be misleading a lot of people just like the news article you have provided. For all the newbies out there search popularity in Gtrends is not a reliable source to based on your analysis towards Bitcoin's price movement. It's just that Bitcoin is still a new word compared to stocks and gold and it also has the biggest noise compared to the both of them that is why it is leading in Gtrends

I agree, that title is misleading. Anyways, we can't just conclude that bitcoin beats stocks. Remember the market is still fairly young so comparison is total bull-shit, if I may say. Not just because that we are in a mini bull run we can conclude that bitcoin will be the next "IT" investment. Stocks will have its ups and downs similar to crypto market, but both shouldn't be compare, each has its own set of parameters to be on a bullish/bearish trend.

Bitcoin is still unpredictable, while stocks are less volatile. There’s no competition behind this two, we need them but its good for bitcoin to go on top. If bitcoin was able to keep this level in more years, then maybe investors will be more focused on cryptomarket. Its still good if you invest on cryptocurrency and stock market as well.
I have sell off my shares and convert them to cryptocurrency. It is better for me because I have gained on them than when I was trading stocks. The stocks market is becoming less popular among the pro traders because of the returned on investments from cryptocurrency and bitcoin. Both the crypto market and stocks market are both volatile since people trade them for profits and you can only make profits when you buy low and sell high.

Let Bitcoin first hit a $1 trillion market cap (and maintain it) and then we can talk about Bitcoin 'beating' most of the stocks at least in market cap. Bitcoin right now is a tiny dot in the financial world. It's a joke.

The global stock market is where institutions invest their capital, while Bitcoin to these institutions is a risk on asset. I doubt they will be allocating even 0.5% of their risk capital to Bitcoin in the coming years without an ETF.

Institutions don't use Google before they buy into a stock, retailers do. The stock market hasn't really done anything to grab the retailer's attention like Bitcoin frequently does by going up like 400% in a matter of months.

Bitcoin Beats Stocks: as there are now more people learning about bitcoin than about stocks according to Google search trends.

google trends have never been a good indication of how many people are doing what. the fact is that stock market is still a lot more popular than bitcoin is and there are a lot more people who are learning about that instead of bitcoin.
if it were anything other than this, price shouldn't have been this low! we should have been closer to $1 million then.

Despite that bitcoin has the highest level of volatility, I mean cryptocurrency, it is still lots easier to trade bitcoin than stock and even Forex trading, I think it is because of its simplicity that made it quite more popular than ever other market that we have presently till date, and don’t be surprised that in the next 10 years.

The whole world would prefer to rather trade bitcoin which may lead to lots of decline in the market of stock and Forex, this is the future that many analysts has seen that made them to advise people to look beyond the current situation of bitcoin, and look ahead of it. Any investment we have right now should be held not just for this time, but for future when bitcoin usage will really grow and then get to every part of the world.

I think that terms of keyword will give different result in another country because google have their calculation to determine which word that is popular in one country and we cannot use it to another country. Maybe in one country, that keyword is right, but we can see in the other country, that keyword is not too popular.

But soon, bitcoin can beat stocks, especially if people are losing their beliefs in stock and they will move into bitcoin. I am sure that right now, there will be people who already invest their money in bitcoin.

Bitcoin is fun, exciting and new plus it has real world applications useful in this digital era which is why it's attracting so much attention. It's an interesting time we live in that's for sure. Let's see where this crypto train leads us!

Bitcoin is mainly attracting attention because of its price action. I doubt people care about its real world applications. It's not for nothing that most of the adoption happens during a bull run. The same applied to the early age of the internet where tech stocks were shooting up and down just as hard as crypto does.

Utility will matter when the market as a whole has matured more. It will very likely also be the end of 99% of the altcoins because they have no utility. They solely functioned as pump and dump tool. On top of that, Bitcoin will then be outsearched by other industries that are emerging. That's just how it goes. You can't be a new and unkown asset for ever.

At least make your website secure first before posting any links here.

And it's obvious that when we have a bull-run google searches for the term "bitcoin" also picks up. So I'm not surprised by it, there are also people seeing correlation here but for me it's just normal though.

I think the main purpose of this article is to promote this site -----> worldpublicityblog.
Also, anyone around the world can invest in Bitcoin because you do not need a lot of personal data to buy this currency other than stocks that are constrained by geographical location.
Finally, we can’t take this speech accurately, but the comparison is not meaningful.

More people are learning about bitcoin because it's a hell of a lot newer than the stock market is.  You can also take college courses in corporate finance (which teaches you quite a bit about the stock market) or other related subjects, whereas there aren't bitcoin-related courses on university campuses all over the world.  Thus people have to use the internet to learn about bitcoin and many do so on their own.

Don't draw big conclusions based on Google data, especially about bitcoin.  It isn't like bitcoin is overtaking stocks as the investment of choice for people with money--it's not.

Sooner or later you won't be worrying about volatility after prices soar up so high you'd forget how much each coin was when you bought it.

I don't want to click that link. Stocks is already known by most so they don't have to search about it. While for bitcoin, more and more people are becoming curious about it so they are searching about it.

A simple comparison chart --> https://trends.google.com/trends/explore?q=bitcoin,stocks

Seem true. Bitcoin is becoming more popular now. Anyone with some money can get into crypto and become a bank. The new market has emerged and the old might just be forgotten unless they adopt the blockchain technology.

When it comes to price and volatility then there no doubt for Bitcoin do had the edge but when it comes to regulation then we can see the difference.

Not sure if I'd call volatility an edge. Volatility is both an advantage and a disadvantage, completely depending on the purpose. On a trading perspective it's definitely an advantage, whereas for people who are planning on using it as a currency? Probably not.

I think that should be expected imo. Stocks have been around since forever and I assume most people at least know what they're for. Whereas Bitcoin, a very young asset that most people don't know about(heck, even probably most investors don't know what they're putting their money into). So naturally, we should really expect higher curiosity on Bitcoin.
Comparing stocks that been here for how many years or lets say since the beginning where the market had began to bitcoin which had been existing for just 10 years.

When it comes to price and volatility then there no doubt for Bitcoin do had the edge but when it comes to regulation then we can see the difference.
