check out BOP (https://bitsofproof.com/) they do custom made solutions, the also do BOPshop (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=no2JdGaBRMI)
i know tamas blummer personally, he is genuine, he is a wizard - i recommend his company big time
after all, to accept bitcoin as a payment option you only need to get an online wallet (let´s say via blockchain.info) and print out the the wallets QR code. this QR code you put on display in the shop. if a customer wants to pay in bitcoin
1) calculate the amount of € in bitcoin using coindesks price average (http://www.coindesk.com/news/)
2) let the customer scan your printed address QR code
3) tell the customer how much bitcoin you want
4) check via blockchain.info if the btc arrived in your wallet
note that you do not need to have access to the wallet to check if payment arrived. anyone with internet access can check the payment (point #4) - that person does not need to be an expert about bitcoin.
you can use the same QR code /wallet address for every shop or you can choose to give every shop a different address.
now, receiving bitcoins is not difficult at all - but i guess you need to convert them into € ?
as an exchange you may want to check out kraken. maybe you should give bitstamp another chance, they have a good reputation usually.
why is bitpay no option ?
good luck !
Hi 600Watt,
Thanx for your explanation and your help.
I love the video from Bobshop, those guys really do a good job with that!
As we want to start with this on a simple way (lets see if it überhaupt works), we don't want to spend money on services like this at the beginning.
That is also the reason why we don't want to use bitpay. I will take a look to Kraken, and maybe give Bitstamp another try, although my preferences go to another, smaller bank.
Thanx for the clear overview. This is exactly what I needed to start-up
I will def keep Bobshop in mind if we need to take other steps when the accepting of Bitcoins is going to be a succes.
All the best from the Hemster
