Just a note on the English language

Burglary = theft involving the thief physically entering a premises to steal something.

Theft = taking property from somebody.

Without watching the video - I suspect that  this was a theft, not a burglary - unless the 'burglar' physically entered the house of the O.P and took his Bitcoin from him....?

Take care folks!!  Smiley

Damn man, I'm sorry to hear that.  That's never a good feeling.  Unfortunately, you always have to keep your guard up in the cryptosphere.  You should invest in a hardware wallet like the ledger nano S and never ever give your private keys out to anyone.  These scammers are getting more clever every day.

This is so sad to hear.  Hopefully that wasn't all that you had.  Good luck, and thank you for sharing your story so we can know too.   Smiley

always be careful when you hear or read something that sounds too good to be true!

No one gives money out for free and 99% of those cases are frauds as you already mentioned. Do your research people!

Hello to all!
This is my first article at this forum.
And unfortunately it has a severe background.

From my blockchain.info wallet have been stolen 0.5 BTC last night.

The fraudsters used this youtube-video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sPcsxAD9mAE to fool me
and this website http://get-bitcoincash.info/convert.php to rip me off. Both are still online.

Maybe you can alert your friends to stay away from this scam.

Have a nice day,
Herbert
