I've been into cryptocurrency for a long time, so I will put these dates on my wall calendar. I heard that the parliament of El Salvador has passed a law recognizing bitcoin as a legal tender.

There are many important days about bitcoin in each month. It's October now which means we will soon be celebrating bitcoin whitepaper day and that's really awesome for me. With the birth of a new decentralized history, people around the world were amazed. Elsewhere I also like bitcoin pizza day sounds very funny but that was the beginning of the first bitcoin transaction used as a means of payment for a pizza.

I'm not so familiar with some of these Bitcoin holidays. What is Bitcoin Running Day, for example? And also, if it is strictly a Bitcoin holiday calendar, I guess I would omit the likes of Mt. Gox Day or Shitcoin Day.

Anyway, the good thing with Bitcoin.holiday, which others have suggested above, is that it provides a brief information about the particular holiday. But, again, there are still days there which I think are not really that relevant in Bitcoin's history that they need to be considered holidays.

Actually, there's a calendar that listed all Bitcoin activities and important days.
https://bitcoin.holiday
(edited: ohh, it's given above already)

I didn't even know that there are more holidays in the Bitcoin calendar.  I always think about a new ATH will come every 4 years come not the monthly activities on Bitcoin in the calendar.

November 8 - Shitcoin Day
I don't know about this day lol. It's my first time sighting it unlike the others.

What's the story behind it. it would also been awesome if the year the actual event happened and the links to the story behind the even were included on each important Bitcoin day.

What I know is that an event in the "Bitcoin Pizza Day" Calendar has become a lot of stories in the community because buying two Pizzas with 10,000 Bitcoin first then this becomes an unforgettable memory and people always celebrate this day as a sacred day in Bitcoin.
Many people always imagine that the price of Bitcoin is now but the fact is that was what someone who liked pizza did in the past.
For other Days I can't pay attention much more except Bitcoin Pizza Day, even my wife always make Pizza on that day. Cheesy

This is what is expected from a true bitcoin enthusiast.. sounds pretty amazing .. that you actually have pizza on that day … Thanks for sharing for sharing experience…

I always like new reasons to party. Pick a day where nothing else is going on, and your boss will probably not give you time off lol.

Have u ever contributed or u have any experience of any of such days ...

January 3 -     Bitcoin Day

April 5 - Satoshi's Day

May 10 - Lightning Day

May 22 - Bitcoin Pizza Day

August 1st- Bitcoin Independence Day

November 4 - Bitcoin Logo Day

November 8 - Shitcoin Day

December 18 - HODL Day

For, I am only familiar with "Bitcoin pizza day" which represents the day an individual bought two pizzas with over 10,000 Bitcoins worth $40 back then, and I have no idea about the rest. But I think there are some days here that make no sense and I don't see any reason why they are important to Bitcoin in any way, such as Independence Day, Bitcoin Infinity Day, Bitcoin Whitepaper Day, Bitcoin Logo Day, Bitcoin Day, and HODL-day. Because I think these days makes no sense, but it would have nice if only had you explained it a more better

Really all what matters is the Bitcoin halving and whatever upcoming estimated dates we have for important softfork updates — everything else is just meh.

To be very honest, i don't know most of these days expect a few. Even i don't see people talking about them on those days mentioned.

Among all these days, it was bitcoin pizza day which is known to everyone and some of people celebrate it too. I have seen people share the bitcoin pizza day pictures here on bitcointalk where they have decorated pizza with some bitcoin designs and celebrated.  Smiley

There is already a nicely written calendar that covers most of this (and more), see https://bitcoin.holiday/ and some sort of announcement here.
Of course, Cypherpunk Day is not directly bitcoin related and also Satoshi day is most probably incorrect - I guess you don't expect a man very careful about his privacy would give out the correct birth date just like that..

If you feel you can add dates, you can also contribute there: https://bitcoin.holiday/
