Oh well... I wonder if she is proud of herself lol.

At least there is no need to put BTC in the oven; of course it is also impossible, thus making it even more secure. Obviously, unless you put your phone in the oven, attempting to clean the BTC Smiley

True that, but then adoption rates are still low. I've yet to see a store or merchant in my country that has yet to accept BTC, let alone Lightning Network.

On a side note, this reminded me of some woman in China "disinfecting" her notes by throwing them into an oven, which ended up burning them to a crisp Cheesy

I was thinking about paying with BTC to merchants, instead of cash money. Not to exchange BTC for cash.

Just pay with BTC each time you can, to any merchant which accepts BTC payments...

Cash money may be a biological bomb these days.

But issue is we can't spend our bitcoin,we have to sell it to fiat money if we want to spend our crypto assets that is why still bitcoin is not effective on this conditions.Maybe in future we may have more places which accepts cryptos so we can say bitcoin will help.Anyway try to stick with bank transactions than real money to get reduce the current spreading rate.

Cash money are a certain way to spread the virus. Many infected people used money and they passed them to other people. Touching objetcs which were previously touched by infected ones can lead to new infected people. This is true also for any other objects excepting money: touching bars in buses / metro, bottles, supermarket carts and so on. But the problem is even greater regarding money.

Because money pass through much more hands compared to a supermarket cart. Supermarket carts or the bars from buses are also cleaned (at least they are supposed to be cleaned). But nobody cleans the money. It is known that money carry so much dirt / bacteria. Now this is even worst with this coronavirus.

A real alternative to avoid using money is using Bitcoin. And I thought in these hard days more and more people will use Bitcoin, trying at least in this manner to protect themselves. I know it's not a big protection, but it is at least a small step in this direction. More and more other measures are needed, of course: clean your hands, keep a distance from other people, use protection gloves / masks and so on.

Unfortunately, regarding the more intense use of Bitcoin, I see the contrary: more and more people sell it. Its price dropped a lot lately and I think this is determined by a massive selling. So instead of use it even more, it seems that people are selling it more. Maybe I am wrong. But I really think it can offer a protection in such difficult days for the humankind.
