Hey everyone. How many of you play at a bitcoin casino? Do you play at mBitcasino? DO YOU GUYS FEEL CHEATED EVER SINCE BITCOIN PRICES SKYROCKETED?! If yes I would like to hear your story. Because I feel as if I have been CHEATED thousands of dollars. Roughly at least 10k.... and with such came a huge amount of never ending consecutive losing spins that are so consistent as it feels as if RNG is not applied, more like scripted is what I would recall it.
You cant do anything about it. Lose is always considered as loss.Lets say we totally lose up 2 btc total on a certain gambling site and now the price rose up almost 5000 usd which we would really regret that those bitcoins have been lost would really be valuable as of now if you didnt able to lose it out in the gambling site.If you dont like for this thing or feel it again then better save bitcoin and quit gambling completely.

You played against the house edge so that is normal. Also it's quite usual now for lossers that they feel they are being cheated because they totally lose.

I suggest you to move on and try to learn different method to earn you money.

Game System Fairness and Security

At the time, there was nothing official mentioned on the site about mBit Casino being provably fair. However, the providers of the games on mBit Casino, such as Play’n Go and Betsoft, are known to be regularly audited by third parties to make sure that the games they supply pass fairness and reliability tests.

What has the price of bitcoin for to do with cheating ? I don't understand this thinking behind this statement at all. If tu had won that amount would you be saying the same things ? If you are serious about an accusation you will make it a fact rather than accusation by backing it up with support and facts. Not assumptions. Never assume things in life because eventually it will make you look like a fool.

If you were serious about this you produce proof. Otherwise anyone can say what they like and say it's true.

How do you feel cheated no site or wallet has ever forced someone to gamble and with the price increasing that should be a lesson for all of you to not gamble and better to save you are simply feeding more value to the casinos they still accept only bitcoin so it doesn't make any difference to them

I agree, if you think bitcoins prices would go up then why did you even gamble with your btc? That is your own choice and that is your own and you cannot blame this on anyone. If you want to gamble then gamble using fiat and not your bitcoins. There are plenty of other gambling sites that accept fiat anyway, in fact there are 10 times the number of fiat casinos than bitcoin casinos.

Because of greed, just like anybody else. I was once deposit BTC.01 and it matter of minutes it is gone and damn I was so mad at myself but I didn't blame the casino. If I have gamble that in a landbased casino, I'm pretty sure that I will not be swept similar to what happened to me in a online site. I don't feel cheated as all, but I put the blame on myself on not stopping at some time and just take in easy and enjoy, but unfortunately, I try to bet big and try to recoup my initial lost but eventually even my bankroll was also gone. Although is not big amount, learning when to stop and quit on time while you have money is the best thing to do and do not chase your loses.

I wouldn't blame that on the casino dude. You make the decisions to continue playing or not. It's gambling. If you can't afford to lose that much money, then don't gamble with that much money. They probably are cheating you yes, but gambling is seldom.fair and gamblers need to accept that

Exactly, that's why gambling just like leadership is a choice and you have to weigh your options before embarking on this journey. There wil always be speculations about whether or not we get cheated but it is these same casinos that other people win big and get paid so we should wait our moments if we aren't there yet.

The introduction of the provably Fair system has given some semblance of a Reckoning for the casino owners but the fact is there's no regulation there at all. It's one thing walking into a casino, knowing that the house is set against you no matter what you do. But it's another thing Walkin After one where there are so few safeguards for you that if the casino really wanted to they could go for two weeks without posting any winners , and just use false data to make them appear to be giving away money. Provably does help but there's only so far that is single system could go to protect people.

Casino at online gambling was really fed with people who has no hope for gambling and as mentioned here that's always been cheated which give an annoying emotions to most of the gambling player who invested their money on it. Much better if that advice of not investing at casino and saving is the better options to have this time.

I fully trust the casino that I'm playing on and I don't really have a problem with the high price of Bitcoin.
On Crypto-Games you can just switch to an altcoin if you want to be able to make more bets on games with a higher minimum bet, like roulette.

They're provably fair and their stats longterm are what they should be if you take their house edge into consideration, total transparency.

This is why I think that the Provably Fair concept introduced by Bitcoin gambling is the unsung hero of online gambling innovation. The most you'll ever get from non-crypto casinos are 3rd party verification of RNG systems. In the case of slots, that's only tied to the individual operators. Not only is this RNG not transparent, you have no way to verify for yourself if this is correct, you simply have to trust the certification. Provably fair is almost standard operating procedure these days with Bitcoin gambling - you can easily verify on your own that the bets you've placed are fair.

And those third-party verifications result in increased costs for gamblers in a form of higher house edge. Basically, fiat online casinos are less secure and much more expensive for players, and also require some document verification. The existence of cryptocurrencies and crypto gambling sites should be brought to attention in gambling community, to help players get better odds in their games and boost adoption of cryptocurrency. Maybe in next 5-10 years cryptographic Provably Fair will just become industry standard for online gambling.

Correct. The overheads of land-based casinos are extremely high. Online conventional casinos cut down a lot on this but still bear the same burden of 3rd party verification and software licensing. The beauty of crypto casinos is low overheads. Not only does Provably Fair mean savings, it actually makes the need for 3rd party verification completely redundant.

All these add up to lower costs, translating to lower house edges. Casinos doing this actually stand to gain more by focusing on low edge, high volume, instead of the other way round.

If you loss on casino than its your bad luck but it is also true that some casino might set up their script to manipulate results when high bet is placed. However it is quite easy to detect such casinos nowadays because the one that do manipulate results don't provide probably fair games.

That's why before depositing money into any gambling site you should check whether they are trusted site or not. In this forum, it is very easy to find those details and choose only those good old trusted sites to gamble then no need to worry about the manipulation because those trusted casinos know how to run a business without cheating gamblers.
But some old trusted site are also turning to scam just like Satoshi dice. The gambling starts when you start depositing on that site.   Cheesy
Choosing the old and trusted one was thr best way to diminish the risk of scam which all of as are prone by using anonymous currency.

Well, if your intention is to enjoy a rise on Bitcoin price you shouldn't gamble with this. After you click the roll button there is nothing you can do anymore... The casinos use a provably fair system, so I don't think you are being cheated, just too unlucky. Next time when you see the BTC price is increasing too much stop gambling before you lose all your money and just come back to the casino when you feel the BTC price will stabilize.

Don't blame bitcoin price, because there's no related to it, you should control yourself (it's the most important thing in gambling), see the recent price is necessary.

AFAIK mBitcasino use 3rd party for game system fairness and they have licensed by the government, plus I see the review about them is positive.

I think it's your fault to gamble too much until you can't control yourself (no offense).
You should keep in your mind: always use money that can afford to lose if you want to play gambling.

We all felt cheating when we lost in a casino. But if you look closely, its our own fault why we lost. You should have quit early and not wait till I lost all my money and then accused them of something like cheating. How long have you been gambling anyways? Most of us have literally lost thousands and not even complaining because they don't take it personally against a casino. Maybe you are just unlucky that moment. Just continue with your life. And let this be a lesson to you as well.

The best advise is that you waited too long to have made a decision to quit because the 10k dollars didn't happen at once, it should be tranches but you waited long enough to lose up to that amount. One thing about gambling sites is that the moment you doubt your losing, the best is to stop and move to other platforms you can have some element of trust in. There is no way to proof that they cheated because they would have cover their lapse if any of such happened.

My grandfather once told me that there's nothing legit in a casino except the buffet!  The house will always win long term as we all know, even with provably fair games.  Try to play at the most reputable sites you can, and don't over value your " skill " in a particular game.  Thinking that you're better than you really are is one of the worst mistakes people make.

I think this is not all dependent on the expertise. Luck is also a very important value. So if we have luck and skill then we can get the victory. But if we do not have both then we will experience a disastrous defeat.

I agree with that guy's grandfather. Though technically thy are not cheating as we agreed to their rules. They put a house edge because they want to have a better chance of winning over their players. That is just how their business is. Luck and skill has little to do in gambling to be honest. The casino has a statistical advantage and that means you will lose in the long run.

No I don't. It is not the casino's fault that prices went up. Also, when you started gambling you did not gamble using fiat, but you gambling using bitcoins. But regardless, if you lost you lost fair and square. Heck, I also lost 2 BTC back in 2014, that was worth $8,000 today, but I can't tell the casino give me back part of my money.

Many casino might have rigged games if they don't allow you to verify your every results in any game they offer.
But if you are playing in provably fair casino, I don't think casino can cheat you because they can't modify game results after you place the bet.

I am gambling in trusted casinos so I don't feel like I am being cheated by them.

I play at 888poker and betcoin.ag. Don't know how many money I have lost and won already. Just regret about one moment that happened this March. When I won 1 BTC and give it to my wife to she keep it and she cashed it out by 1300$ price. I am still reminding her that if she would wait at least a month we would have 3000$ instead of this 1300$  Grin But what can I do now? We didn't know that Bitcoin will raise so fast.

How many of you play at a bitcoin casino?
Probably all players from bitcointalk.
Do you play at mBitcasino?
No.
DO YOU GUYS FEEL CHEATED EVER SINCE BITCOIN PRICES SKYROCKETED?!
NO. Bitcoin price has nothing to do with losing.
Because I feel as if I have been CHEATED thousands of dollars. Roughly at least 10k.... and with such came a huge amount of never ending consecutive losing spins that are so consistent as it feels as if RNG is not applied, more like scripted is what I would recall it.
Probably not, i would call it bad luck. It happens, you know? Take my advice - find provably fair games and play them, that way you will always know that no one can cheat you.

Surely you can lose a lot in gambling, this is just a chance working here and I think that is how gambling suppose to work, and the winning rate is just a bonus everybody can get, but there are some sites that are Rig and controlled by the owner of the said gambling sites, be very cautious in some sites but there are plenty of reliable sites that you can choose from primedice, plinko, nitrogen sports and more!

What did you think ? All casinos have the house edge which in the long run will make you lose money. There is also a probability for you to win as every spin is independent from each other (or so claim the majority of the casinos) so chance to win are there too. I believe though that you have played at a very bad time at the specific casino where you were playing , the time where the house edge was trying to recover and you were the victim. This is called bad luck and not rigging games.
Yes if all the casinos are same means I think today no one will put trust on casinos and play gambling. it was just your bad day, and I don't know what was run in your mind that time you lost a big amount. I agree there is a house edge in all casinos, but it will not eat your money until you follow your lost. When you start to play to get back your lost that time house edge will not support you. So in that time, you stopped your game means I think you may be saved your lost.

No.

You bet BTC, you lose BTC, what part of that do you not understand?

You cheated yourself.

I did play at mbitcasino probably like a year ago I made a few deposits there overall haven't won any good amount compared to other casinos i've been to so I avoided playing there. I don't feel cheated after the price skyrocketed. I just accept my loss and move on to a different site because there's nothing we can do about it.

Only butt hurt gamblers will cry later when they do lose their money on playing gambling which they would definitely think off that they are being cheated if they saw that their wallet is empty already but when the times they are winning im sure they wont say such thing instead they will say that the site is legit. This is just a common thing on gambling field on where there are gamblers cant really accept their defeat.

What? Felt cheated because the price of bitcoin skyrocketed? There's no relation of it with the casino's, they are accepting amount of bitcoin as is. And that's why there's a minimum and maximum bets for each casino's. If you felt that you had been cheated, there's something wrong with yourself, accept it man.

I agree, aside from anonymity, most bitcoin casinos offer Provably Fair game which players can check on their own once they know how to verify it. Fiat casinos should find a way to adopt this system so that players are assured that there is no manipulation involved.

I don't think that they would start to scam people only because of higher bitcoin price, as price is high for few weeks now, so i'm sure that people would stop playing there if someone found out that it was a scam. You had back luck that day, you should have stopped after you lost first $1000 instead of gambling more.

There was also another thread about a few days ago that is screaming and saying he has been cheated because he has experienced a losing streak and that he is cheated. I think you can verify if you been cheated right? So why don't you do that and see if indeed online casino's are doing it right now because of the skyrocketed price of bitcoin as you put it. Its really hard to accused someone without proof. I know that's a lot of money, but that's how gambling works dude, its either you lose or win. I think why you lose is that you are already suckered in by this casino's and you thought that you can win or recovered from you losses but eventually lose big amounts. Just accept it and if you are playing on a trusted casino's, personally I don't think they will cheat you with just 10K. IMHO.

Just give up and accept your loss. That is the consequence of playing slots and wagers too much money there. Nobody here can prove that casino are cheating in terms of slot because they are using 3rd party provider in each slot game. So obviously the control is not on there hand. Besides that slot is just scripted game and favorable to the owner.
