Group chat is a good idea, however it should be extremely careful coz scammers are everywhere.And me also got into dis trap and lost my 0.5btc on telegram.he was a admin of channel crypto signal group and he promised me to provide quality signal which will be help me to make 50-80% per day.but there was noting like dat.so everyone please be aware from discussion group cause scammer are there too.

Also want to recommend freenode irc. I haven't been on in a few years, but there are tons of incredible channels full of professionals and smart people working on various open source projects including Bitcoin itself.

Telegram is also one of the newest online communication , and still you can improve the social horizon of each and every one of us. And viber looking this what so called a chat room for traders and investors looking forward to join and best hope.

You could also maybe look into discord, I heard that there are plenty of cryptocurrency servers on there. I've even seen a few messages circulating about them. Just be careful for people looking to pull a quick buck on you

You can create a chat room for traders but attracting people there will be a big problem. People tend to avoid new and unknown places and normally they don't even bother to click on a link no matter however good it might look. I suggest you to use the existing ones which were mentioned in this thread and also imo the chat rooms on some markets are the best places to chat with real traders. Creating a separate chat room you can end up attracting random people there who in fact don't care about trading cryptos or anything you want to chat about.

Telegram is another place which you can open a chat room or call it a channel which can take you to three thousand persons for your conversations on the bitcoin chat.

Telegram group is not good for a large community.
There only one room, this mean users will encounter the following issue: off topic, chat is overloaded to will impossible read it, no group voice chat.

In Discord, we can always create an additional room, for example, where we will only talk about NEO. There is an excellent voice chat. For communication among developers markdown is an excellent addition.

well Ashwell jhon I can develop a char room for you where you could invite traders to chat with them. if you thin you need a chat room then hesitate not to ask me. I do for free as a hobby. and I also have group of traders from India with whom you can chat and have idea about new coins and bitcoin they are highly experienced and expert of cryptorcurrencies.

It might be worth it to check out some Bitcoin trading related Facebook groups, there's usually people there who are up for chatting.

Are you sure? teamspeak is usually used for gaming i never know that people will use it for this kind of conversation

There is already a teamspeak server out there for traders. I don't have the server IP anymore, but i believe it is still running.

Maybe you could like get a teamspeak server. Then all the Bitcoiners and traders could talk easily instead of typing.

as mentioned, i've spent a lot of time looking for the ideal chat solution for my community and testing so many of these chats, chatwing is the only chat software that has all the custom features your going to need.

if you want just a general messaging chat app just use facebook messenger, whatsapp, snapchat or telegram is ok too.

Regarding the social aspect and being anonymous, that is totally optional you can setup and customize your chat room app anyway you would like with any login method including just guest,  so you can allow all users to keep their anonimity if they want, or offer a combination of login options like facebook, Guest, Twitter and Linkedin, you can do it how you want, chatwing also has its own native login account system you can use too.

You have introduced a new idea for this community, it will come into existence sooner and will be with full features and will satisfy the users. You can also take a start for me the video chat is more effective so I will suggest tinychat for you. It will be a beneficial chat-room.

The Telegram app is a secure way of communication even when you are on the move. I think it's available for all the platforms you could check it out.

Also, many bitcoin users prefer some sort of anonimity and would not really want their social profiles stuck all over every line of text they say in a chat room.

I think IRC would be your best bet, but be very wary of scammers, they are lurking around every corner to try and steal your coins.

i've created my chatwing application and so far so good, i like what i see.

I also use the chatwing, and are really pleased with it, as said earlier, the widget that you put on the website a great advantage. but then bitcoin users are usually interested in technology an IRC would be suffice, just depends on what features we want.

Chatwing gets 2 thumbs up from me, was chatting using it last week on American Cancer Society website during an event and people were logged in with all sorts of social accounts, like Instagram, Linkedin, Facebook, twitter and also Google, it was a different type of atmosphere opposed to everyone using just Google, since you can click the chatters names and it opens their social profile.

Also the chatwing widget i've used for my events can embed into a webpage which isn't possible with google hangout chats.

Regarding IRC, spent a lot of time using it in the past, it was cool back in the day but it just lacks all the features and functionality that your users want these days in chat like social integrations.

Use freenode irc. Create a room for you and publicize your channel across other bitcoin and altcoin channels. People will come and join and discuss with you. Be cautioned to trade with anyone if you wish to trade directly with the people. Scammers are everywhere.

To publicize your channel, you can post in other altcoin channels. For a list of channels, search bitcointalk for freenode, irc. Also, you can create a subreddit and ask people to subscribe and discuss there.
