I have an employer I would like to convince to start accepting Bitcoin. But the truth is I will never be able to "sell" bitcoin as well as many others, notably Vorhees.
It would be nice if there were professional Bitcoin closers to go to. For example, I could hire somebody like Vorhees to come to a specific location and time and "sell" the idea of Bitcoin to certain individuals.
Then there would be a need for Bitcoin integrators. If my employer did want to get set up with Bitcoin he could hire somebody to come and integrate it with his company.
Does anything like this exist? If not, it sure seems like there would be a market for those two professions.
I don't think anyone is doing this professionally, but several here have been attempting to get charities on board, as well as some restaurants in their areas. Bit-Pay also seems like the go-to company for setting up brick and mortar shops for accepting bitcoins and immediately converting them into dollars and initiating automated bank deposits, eliminating the need to even bother learning the mechanics of how bitcoins work.
Hiring someone to travel to a specific location could get very expensive. Also, no one could guarantee that your target business or individual would immediately begin using BTC and I'm sure the "closer" would still want to be reimbursed at least for expenses incurred while making the attempt.
