crypterra is up and running, login is ok, but not all parts of the sites is working, withdrawals, add hashpowers etc. Balances seems ok, and it updates as it should. No bonus yet as far as i can see.

Crapterra still down nobody had payouts since around 15th Jan. What's your call Steffoboy, think they will be back or exit scam?
The site went down the 1st of february, then it came back a few days later but technically went belly up after that, what happened next is that they started a brand new website.
However no one has been able to login yet, they claim a ssl certificate for the "client area"
Thing is if they exit scammed, they would have done it already, you dont have to create all this nonsense, they have gone a great lenght to try to restore their business, and my take is that they will do it.
The main wallet is intact;
https://blockchain.info/address/1GjdRf8xb1zXrn795mK59U3MLhDivfESjm
However, they have raised the price to Hashflare levels, but BTC seems to rebound as we speak. Over 19000 usd//btc all will be good even at 200 USD per Ths, but as we speak, not feasible.
Also its chinese new year going on, for 1 more week, so my best guess/hope is that add 7 days for the new year, and 5 more to fix all these problems, after that, we will know for sure.

Fair points, and I hope you are right about them coming back. The 222 BTC is intact as you say, but what about the LTC wallets. This first address was used for customer payouts, the second address has moved a total of 8332 LTC with current market value around $1.7M. It would appear they have been cashing out daily the money people invested by LTC.

https://chainz.cryptoid.info/ltc/address.dws?LTuyWdi6x2RWARMfjyM5ES68vNcJxsmhzy.htm (cash out address)
There is a litecoin fork coming up tomorrow, maybe thats why. Sadly this is a common thing happening with forks, payouts seize up. in exchanges, and in other venues, also in mining, Hashflare did the same while B Cash came out of nothing.

I sent a email to GalxC one month ago and they replied me today. It's really the company, and they say that they have no idea who is behind crypterra. I wanted to share a screenshot on the forum but I'm a newbie so I can't post pictures
No way dude, no company would send corporation info to random email senders, or go to webforums and try to be clear about their customers or companies that isent their customers, it would be suicide, so stop the nonsense.

Dear Forum,

We are GalxC Cooling, a genuine refrigeration company based in Southampton.
We provide cooling systems for industrial, HVAC and high efficiency cooling for data-centres.
Please see, www.galxc.co.uk, where we have case studies of work that we have actually done.

Please can we advise the we have had NOTHING TO DO WITH CRYPTERRA and that we have NEVER HEARD OF THEM and claims made that they have invested in our equipment are FALSE.

We have also been contacted saying multiple investors (173,000) have been scammed for over $12M and are trying to recover their monies, and do we have any contact details for Crypterra. Sorry we do not know them, never heard of them, as above.

We hope that this post will help anyone affected.

Since bitcoin is becoming more and more sought after it is a heaven for scammers to try to scam as many persons as they can.

The main problem is the stupid nature of the people in this market. Seriously, I have never seen people with a lower IQ than the people in this market, and that's without exaggerating the situation. It's so easy, that I am sure I can create a cloud mining website as well, and walk away with thousands and thousands in asset value, and likely far more if the marketing is done properly. People quite often complain about the stock market returns being low and pathetic and whatnot, which is true, but the people involved in stocks are Einsteins compared to the empty headed idiots we are dealing with here. I thought that it would change throughout the years, but nothing has changed at all. Lips sealed

Yep Hodler talking shit about miners, nothing new there. Einstein stole most of his work that he is famous for...

From the name itself it is nothing to be trusted. Sounds that the scammers of Sierrahash, shortest lived website of cloud mining in history so far is at it again. Since bitcoin is becoming more and more sought after it is a heaven for scammers to try to scam as many persons as they can. Better to steer away from this and every other site which represents the same scamming scheme.

The person who taught me all about bitcoin explained about mining to some extent. In between he mentioned that we haven't got much of the legitimate mining access on cloud. Better is to stay away from such kind of mining which were promoted with high earnings.
Crypterra was the only fair price at the market, if u buy your own aisic u get 100 usd per Th, crypterra was 128 USD
Genesis last was 176, and the record scammer im invested in so far is Hashflare with 220 usd per TH, and only 1 year contract!
We have also others with 300 usd and up, which will never work, they say lifetime contracts, but in reality difficulty increase eats it up before profit.

At best, cloud-mining gives you a low probability of making a profit. That is why the returns from hashflare and genesis mining are bad overall. The fact that Crypterra pays so much more is an indication that it is a scam. How can they pay so much when "legitimate" sites can't?
No its not, its s still good at Genesis,. i made 4x the investment, but Hashflare stole the lifetime contracts and made them 1 year only plus doubled the price like a suicidal maniac that wants to kill his own company before he dies himself.

I will make profit at Hashflare, but only because i started invested in the beginning of the bitcoin rally, but all the people that came after they doubled the price, will not, if the BTC not goes above 20k again that to say. Not even Crypterra was profitable at the low point of BTC.

Its amazing how many people talk bad about mining and claim hodling is so superior, they simply dont understand there is no BTC without mining?

When you write, "i made 4x the investment" and "I will make profit at Hashflare", is that in terms of dollars or in terms of BTC? Typically, cloud-mining investors claim a profit when the BTC they receive is worth more than the BTC they invested, even though they now have less BTC than they started with. In that case, they would have done better by simply holding the bitcoins rather than investing in cloud-mining.

I agree that there are no bitcoins without mining, but that doesn't justify a person mining at a loss.
Thats just valid if you want to have more bitcoin, and makes assumptions that the bitcoin will rise ever higher, thats not the case at all right now For example i had 1 TH at Genesis and made 65 dollars a month with it and paid 150 dollars for it, so i just dont care, i have used the money investing in Hasflare and other things, i dont keep bitcoins to speculate on the price, and oh well, BTC has just dropped 70%
This is why I don't really suggest on investing on these cloud mining sites even on legit ones,i cant still assure it profitability but if you don't really care on your ROI since you do have lots of money to spend on or invest on then its your choice on investing to these sites but talking into this unknown website I don't think it would be worth to put money on. I would rather choose up on building miners on my own.
Yes thats true but the investment and workload will be much much higher, if BTC goes to 15K we will be good, but having your own miners will be double up better.
At least here u can start at 20 USD
When you do talk about small amounts that you can afford to lose up then its your choice $20 or not its still money. Hopes of price increase wont really happen anytime unless if you can gather or save up all the btc you do earn and go for long term but we do all know not all people can hold up btc for long term because of some circumstances. Just invest for your own risk and as I speak even investing into legit sites as of now isn't really an assurance for you to reach break even.
The point is more that you can build a position with small sums, that is still profitable, few are those who knows how to purchase setup and maintain an AISIC, let alone pull up well over 1000 USD in one swoop, so i say the risk is lesser with cloudmining, but the profit is also lesser, but anyone can do it, and millions do, to be a hardcore miner in your garage, is a commitment, not an investment. But hey, if u aint got work, now you do Smiley

Hashflare is a fricken disaster that has scammed the hell out of everyone, still i see all this people recommend it.

Return on investment on Hasflare is 27 months on BTC, in Crypterra its 9 as we stand. Hashflare is 1 year contract and Crypterra is 2, so Hashflare is a black hole, and Crypterra brings some fresh air into the dark pit of cloud mining.

At best, cloud-mining gives you a low probability of making a profit. That is why the returns from hashflare and genesis mining are bad overall. The fact that Crypterra pays so much more is an indication that it is a scam. How can they pay so much when "legitimate" sites can't?

Greetings!

As an unofficial user of Crypterra I am pleased to present you this new Cloud Mining service: .
Crypterra is based in Ireland and specializes in mining Bitcoin and other crypto currencies since 2017.
...

You are trying to recruit new customers because you get paid when they use your referral link. That may seem like a good idea to you, but consider that Crypterra, like nearly all cloud-mining sites, is probably a scam, and the result is that you are likely to be labeled as a scammer.
No dude i dont care about that, i have invested heavily in Hashflare, and as it stand Crypterra is the one and only that stands a chance for ROI, ofc if someone appreciate and signup on my link, im ok, but this is not the reason for my effort, i just want other people to understand the situation and come out with better prospect.

I've tried it for a few months, the result is small and some websites require us to make a deposit.
difficult to distinguish cloud mining proved to pay, have to do the analysis and see some testimony from others.

Every time I am asked about cloud mining, I say the following 3 things:
1) Are you ready to give your money to someone and not be able to pick them up when you want?
2) Almost all companies earn on the minings less than they promise to pay (taking into account referral bonuses). Here you also need to consider if the company buys equipment, it needs time to logistics and launching, and the company pays out immediately. Do you understand the simple logic that the business will live, then should the income be plus, but not minus?
3) Uncover the graph of the cryptoccurrency, see how the cryptocurrency is growing. You can earn a lot more and less risky if you find a good entry point for the purchase and you will keep the crypto currency 6-12 months on your wallet and observe the security measures. Or if you want to earn on mining - buy equipment.

Well, fact is nobody knows who Crypterra are apart from possibly the hosting company and/or domain registrar if they have disclosed real information. The fake operating location is definitely a red flag considering 9 out of 10 'cloud mining' businesses seem to be ponzi schemes these days. We also have no concrete evidence that they are actually mining, no data center photos, no miner photos, no confirmed pool payouts to an address they own. In addition, their SSL cert got revoked by Comodo because many users bought hash power but where never allocated so they reported them as a fraudulent site. I have skin in the game with Crypterra (probably a lot more that I should) so I hope they come back as much as anyone. But there are a shedload of red flags already with this company so I wouldn't recommend new investors to jump in until they have shown they can honor payouts and keep their website online for more than a few days at a time.

Crypterra is based in Ireland

No, Crypterra are not based in Ireland. They setup a virtual office in Ireland with a fake phone number. Some investors visited the site and there is no trace of them there. They were based in China up until yesterday, and now are apparently moving their entire operation to another country due to the recent regulatory changes in China. To all potential investors, tread carefully and wait until the new website is up and DYOR before dumping any of your hard earned crypto into this space.
Oh well thats their information, i havent got any proof of anyone visiting a office in Ireland sorry, i mean a troll could say he did, and now we take his word for it? There is a lot of haters claiming this and that, but apparently they will resume normal operations.
Postbox offices is nothing criminal, its required to register a company. maybe its needed for operations in EU. I saw someone claiming there was no way they could have mining equipment in the office building, but then i checked Mercedes head office, and there is no chance they build cars inside that building either. So its only FUD people try to relief themselves with, but has no basis in reality.

Most of the cloud mining companies are scambags and you better be careful dealing with them especially those promising what is too good to be true. I know genesis mine are legit and a few others but the totally unknown ones and new ones you need to check them very well before you advance money or bitcoins to them. You are better off buying your won miners and mining yourself though.
Which have you invested in?
