I am not an aged member on this forum but from what I noticed I must say the community at its core is striving for something more then only BTC's value: a transparent world.

It is then pitty to see how the mainstream media jumps into an event as the shutdown of SR. It's simple to link BTC to drugs, crime and so on but as said BTC is much more then that, which has been approved by the excellent withstand of the exchange rate. Nevertheless, damage has occurred to a certain extent.

As I am very much socially engaged, doing volunteer work, I was thinking to start a website where community members can donate to several charity organizations. This will eventually polish the brand name and also lead to recognition. After all, it fits IMO into BTC's philosophy to distribute wealth.

What do you think of such an idea and would you be interested in helping?
