I think Qubes OS must have high specification to install it and many more technical process. For beginners or newbie its hard to understand, moreover not have knowledge and skills in computer
Its up for debate whether physical isolation is better, but I'm thinking of a more practical way of storing your Bitcoin, and possibly a safer way of storing your "hot" wallet that you frequently need access too. I might write something up with my experience of isolating via the machine. The only issue I know of is that Qubes OS requires certain virtualization technology present in the motherboard of your computer to actually work, and a lot of users here will likely be using older technology which doesn't have it. I honestly think that's the reason why Qubes OS isn't more popular. The user interface is surprisingly good, however it is a pretty unique way of securing your system compared t other well known operating systems. I wanted to see how much demand for this would be, as hardware wallets are likely used by the majority of users here at Bitcointalk. When you compare a hardwallet with Qubes OS a hardware wallet might indeed be cheaper if you don't have the VD-T virtualization technology present on your current motherboard. Although, I personally believe this is the solution you should use for everything, and not just Bitcoin so it swings in roundabouts I guess.
I'm certainly not claiming to be a expert in Bitcoin security, but I think sharing my findings of Qubes OS, and having some open discussion from the community could in fact improve my personal security.
