Tried, worked for me. I stand corrected, thanks!

Need some spare btc for a new PC

Solutions are there, but the miners/core devels prefer playing politics rather than acting. The real issue - to them - are the users, apparently.

You have to be the one in first 100 usually wait for the 23:00 now, wait a second after the tick and then post, you're sure to submit it.

Yeah, viabtc helped me a lot and I see that my friend too got a recommended 120 sat/byte and it's really frustrating.

For me it seems miners are liking this situation. People who want their transactions finished fast are paying a lot of money that goes to the miners. Their profit is being higher than before (much higher). And no solution is chosen... For how long will this situation last until something worse happen to Bitcoin?

Maybe they prioritize bitcoin transactions with lesser bytes or I just got lucky out of the 200k. Mine got confirmed within a day and I only used 155 satoshis/b on a 250byte transaction.

You can try to speed the transactions through service that ofers viabtc.com. And you certainly need to take care about the amount of fee you are sending with your coin. Is this kind of miners play to get more money? I don't know, maybe, but at the moment you don't have the other choice but to accept it.
