They are likely false positives. The behavior of Bitcoin Core is to search for wallet.dat within the data directory, same behavior as wallet stealers.

Just to be sure, use quick-hash for windows[1], select the program, hash it in SHA256 and check if it matches 8960defc12287dd9248b99bab02a0854c072e6a3850757036c585cbd628217bf.

If it does, the program is safe.

Welcome,
I've downloaded Bitcoin Core 0.13.2 from bitcoin.org. I scanned it using virustotall.com and 8 out of 55 anti-viruses alarmed, some of them about trojans.

I tried to scan older versions 0.13.1 and 0.13.0. There were only riskware errors, without trojans.

I'm very sceptic about anti-viruses - once it get's found i'll rather reinstall my PC for safety than repair and it with anti-virus. I know these alerts are from some unpopular anti-viruses, however i want to make myself sure. Are You having same scan results? Should I ignore it?
