I had trouble to install Bitcoin Core so i downloaded the .zip which is still in my folder Downloads. I ran bitcoinqt.exe from it. I am on Windows. I now have the icon BitcoinQT on my desktop and it runs correctly. But Armory does not find it. Maybe I should enter an adress for "install dir" in the settings. When I am looking for the folder the .zip is not seen.
I also tried to copy-paste the folders of bitcoin-core-0.10.1 in a new folder "Bitcoin" in Program Files but Armory still does not find Bitcoin Core.

You need the install dir and home dir to be correct in the settings.

Should be something like C:\Users\USERNAME\Downloads\BITCOINFOLDERNAME for both.

you need to search for the exe manually, it should be in your downloads folder under bin in the bitcoin 0.10.1 folder, if you are with windows
