I have just one more question - do I have to have Bitcoin Core Wallet up and running in order to receive BTCs? Or once I start it up - will it sync and then I receive any BTC at the time while wallet was not up and running?
No, you do not need Bitcoin Core running in order to receive Bitcoin. The Bitcoin isn't "sent" to your wallet. The transaction is published and your wallet will get that transaction when it syncs the blockchain if that transaction is confirmed.

Screenshot please.

There should be three balances, Available, Pending, and Total. Which ones show the wrong value.

What likely happened is that the change of your unconfirmed transactions is still unconfirmed. Because those change outputs are unconfirmed, the wallet will not list them as available for spending.

I am sorry - it did not occur to me to take a screenshot while the previous Wallet has still been installed. There was nothing in pending and available and total were matching. Its all good now. Next time I do some send transactions and if the available and total amounts wont be as expected, I will take screenshots.

Thank you for your time and willingness to help.

This is strange. I've noticed that there is a newer version of the Bitcoin Core Wallet available (v0.13.0 (64-bit)). So I exited the wallet (v 0.12..), downloaded and installed the newer version to the same folder on my hdd. Once started up, that new version (v.0.13) is showing expected balance - 0.2522... BTC :O

I had 0.50 TBC in my wallet. (Bitcoin Core - Wallet version v0.12.1 (64-bit) as a result of these received transactions:

Received: 0.04048127
Received: 0.21056155
Received: 0.25125125

Total: 0.50229407

I've sent bitcoins with these transactions:

Sent: 0.002 BTC with transaction fee of 0.000000226 BTC (its still unconfirmed)
Sent: 0.003 BTC with no transaction fee (its still unconfirmed)
Sent: 0.005 BTC with transaction fee of 0.00014154 (confirmed)
Sent: 0.23985620 with transaction fee of 0.00014154 (confirmed)

The Bitcoin Core Wallet now reports remaining balance of 0.00625351 BTC. I have expected to see about 0.25 of BTC remaining... Where are they gone?
