They have a lot more than purely bitcoin debit cards now. They are starting to incoporate ERC20 tokens take a look at what TenX is doing. Soon you will be able to use these currencies offline and transact in that way too. It

wont be long before crypto debit cards become a thing of the past and the new thing becomes crypto credit cards (not sure if it would work or take off but that is where we are trending towards)

Bitcoin Debit Card hash been issued by bitplastic.com. Even if your age is under 18, you still get one. Has anyone got one?  This card is a huge process for bitcoin world.

Even Xapo, should be releasing their new debit card for bitcoin, but I would definitely prefer bitplastic one, specially for anonymity. Not sure is Xapo will offer the same.
Debit card Xapo is useless. It has been around for a long time, but too expensive to use. Much more profitable to withdraw bitcoins to your Bank card and make payment. I don't understand why Xapo does not support MasterCard and visa. They are on exchange transactions would make more money than the usage of bitcoin cards.

What are you talking about? Xapo Bitcoin debit card is Visa card and it's not useless. There is no any fee for spending your Bitcoins from the card, only for withdrawing cash at ATM, which is quite normal I would say. So I don't know why are you saying it's expensive to use. And it's accepted everywhere in the world. I travel a lot, I used it at lot of different places and never had any issues with it.

This anonimity thing sounds interesting but on the other hand I know that collecting personal data for card servjcest, even bitcoin card, it's necessary according to the law in order to keep legitimate business. So the issue with that card might be that it will not be accepted everywhere or something. They also might be involved in some illegal activities so I'm not sure I would trust such bitcoin debit card issuer. But good luck with it.

Compared withMtGox, BitStamp and coinbase,  BitPlastic will NEVER ask you for documents or ID nor store any client personal information, so if the server gets hacked you are not vulnerable to identity theft (or even loss of coins, since they are stored OFFLINE).  They don't even require your real name to use their service.

As stated,"You can withdraw up to $200 USD daily. If you need to withdraw more than that, you can order multiple cards", it's really inconvenient.

If some jurisdictions have started operating bitcoin debit cards, it simply means that bitcoin has overcome and we are going to witness speedy growth more from what we are already seeing because it will get more people into the system.

Never heard of that one before. I heard about xapo, monaco, tenx and centra. The last two actually offer the option of spending multiple coins and not just bitcoin which is great in my opinion. I just read some information about them, and I never used one, so I don't know if they require ID check or not. They are quite cheap as well, at least the basic ones.

Its charge is high. I prefer to use Monaco Card and TenX for debit card issues. Hope their platform gets larger and people all around the globa can use it without doubts in their minds.

We really need a real crypto debit card.

How do these even work? Are they basically like paper wallets with magnetic stripes for swiping? Do they work on any credit card or debit card terminals?

There will be more bitcoin debit cards in the future. If you don't like the terms, don't apply for the service and wait for one that you like. No one needs a bitcoin debit card, it is only for a bit of fun.

You could be right mate because bitcoin itself has taken over the purpose of a debit card or the purpose of bitcoin is not to be carried about or being physical.

The blockchain technology is synonymous to going cashless . So, creation of debit card would not really be important since from inception and objective of bitcoin /cryptos , it was defeated abinitio.

They are probably breaking the AML/KYC regulations if they are not confirming their users' identities. I would say they are likely at risk of having their fiat based money seized if they do not comply with aml/kyc laws which means customer money is not safe

As mention in the article of http://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/1v9pzr/bitplastic_scam/, we don't know whether the new service is stable and secure, and whether the operators are honest and credible. We'd better wait and see a while.

As much as I'd love to try using one, I'd have to agree with the above statements, as the company seems B.S given the details.!
