Wagecan charges high fee
Wagecan cards are very expensive compared to other usual wavecrest cards.
You can't deposit instantly on your wagecan card (take upto 7 days)

However there is no other options that can work outside Euro zone because wavecrest bought by visa and they changed their terms.  Angry

Can you please confirm that you already have a card with them and they do work with non-EU citizens?

I can confirm. But
-exchange rate is 1000$ less than on exchanges
-You send btc to wagecan account today (let say 15.000 on wage can is 14.000) you get it on your account after 5 day (maybe 5.000$ is exchange course)
- you get that 5 .000$ in HKD (hongkong dolars) and in your country you loss additional 20-30% exchange rate

Question is how is their exchange rate when you do transfer Bitcoin into the account? Does it have fee on online purchases?

Thanks for your input. I have contacted both Wagecan and Viabuy... I will mention the results.

I have read several warnings about Wagecan as a debit card provider. Not sure how reliable these reports are,
but other Bitcoin debit card providers have less accusations against them.

Besides, it is not really feasible for small amounts as they charge a 162 $ sign-up fee for their debit card.
On top of that you would have to pay a 2,5 % fee for every ATM withdrawal in addition to charges by the
ATM operator if there are any. All in all, the fees of the Wagecan card are really steep compared to
other debit card providers.

However, as far as I know this is currently the only option for non-EU and outside of the US (as a US citizen
you have options like the Bitpay debit card).

I see.. No response from them but every provider which I have tried or contacted them. Said only EU citizens Sad

I was using XAPO card earlier and since October they stopped working outside EU countries.

Cryptopay sent me an email saying that their card will not work in my country (in a south-east Asian country) only after I apply for the card.

Based on my knowledge currently, no card is working outside EU and USA.

Why? They seeding our data to tax administration?

Wagecan and Bitpay are maybe the only one able to provide bitcoin debit card for people outside Europe. Better I tell you before that the Wagecan card (only the gold card is available for outside Europe citizens) is not cheap

Another option that you can take a look at is Viabuy.com, they provide a Mastercard and a dedicated Iban. According to their FAQ, they have a Bitcoin option with Bitpay.

Edit: sorry I checked and Bitpay is available only for European citizens and the USA

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone having a Bitcoin Debit Card or VCC in New Zealand or any other countries other than EU or US which actually working? Most of these companies or I would say all which I have tried they don't offer Cards outside EU or US. They don't even mentioned that. You have to go through the process to find that out.
Few I can mention are:
Xapo,
unichange.me
Shakeypay,
Cryptopay
Coinjar
Adv
Monaco
SpectroCoin
etc....

Anyone had any success?

Thanks
