I kind of think these trivial hard forks will harm the BTC ecosystem in the long run. It could cause inflation in the long run, I would say.

I agree with last post, proceed with caution. Even if it's not a forked coin, crypto is too volatile and all should be treated with extreme caution

Seriously watch out with these forks guys, so many people getting scammed while trying to claim the forked coin. Not worth jumping the gun trying to get the coins quick.

Try to relax man. Take it easy. Do not rush things too much. Stop being so worried about being able to sell your bitcoin diamonds. Time for that wil eventually come. So better wait and be safe rather than force things and have risks on losing your money.

I want to split my Bitocin Diamond and eventually sell it, preferably soon. What wallets can I trust to split it and do you recommend any exchange to sell it? I know Binance supports it but currently I think they have suspended deposits in BCD. I currently use a ledger nano s however it may be a while and or never before they support it.

Thanks!

Try binance or yobit for selling your bitcoindiamond. I actually couldn't gey my bitcoindiamonds because I held them in Bittrex website during the fork. They didn't credit it to us.

How do you propose trying Beyoncé? If you coins weren’t already there… Your shit out of luck… Why would you keep bitcoin on an exchange in any large quantities? You can’t get to your bitcoin diamond right now unless you send them to that scam wallet....   The only legitimate wallet on their site stated they used their name without permission… And they are not supporting them as of this time… The only thing you can sell are futures if you had the coin on an exchange that sells a bit coin diamond futures… I had one on yobit

BCD looks much like a scam to me. Its absolutely aimless and haven't seen many people interested in it. It didn't even have any support from the core miners team. Most of the top exchanges don't really support it. I would suggest you to wait and watch if these BCD guys are even trustworthy to get your private keys.

Those forks has nothing to contribute to the bitcoin/crypto eco system. Be it bitcoin gold, silver or diamond. Just ignore those coins, nothing will come out of it.
And with nothing I mean nothing..

Believe me, I have no love for these other coins, although I do wish bitcoin would address their slow transaction problem. You say to ignore these other coins? no offense but I do not think that would be the smartest thing to do. When ledger supported the BTG fork I sold my coins for BTC and that turned out pretty good. I think Binance is a more or less trustworthy exchange and they seem to be the main one supporting it, not that I would store large amounts there, or on any exchange for that matter. To bad I didint have my coins on it yesterday and then after the split I would have just sold them. Yes it might be best to just wait and when it becomes more accepted then split. I just see that currently its possible to sell them for some real money, mainet launched or not and I would rather trade them for bitcoin as I think bitcoin diamond seems kind of scammy and i dont really want them.. Anyways thanks for replies, if anyone has any good way to split them im still looking for ways, Thanks!

The best idea is to wait while main exchanges add support of it. You willn't sell it for a good price anyway while its not trading on top exchanges...and you will be sure that BCD is secure already.

You should wait at least for one week until there is more information about BCD. You have to wait to check if you can really trust those BCD wallets. The mainnet is not live, yet.
You should also be careful of replay attacks with BTC at the moment.
Just wait for the moment.
