I know what it feels when you are seeing lose money day by day when bitcoin's price is hitting lower. And these people who are giving negative speculations about bitcoin are not helping to make these people feel good, they need encouragement and we can't avoid these type of speculations who are very negative with their opinions. To those investors who bought at the peak, take time to chill everything will settled soon and don't check the prices all the time.

Enough with negativities! That's impossible. We really had a rough start this year but to see that it is now recovering would be really promising this year. It already reached and broke the 11k mark recently. HOLD now and INVEST wile its market price is still stagnant. Once its starts to rise, huge profit will then be earned.

That's just crazy speculation. For that to happen, we need news like "Japan has banned the use of cryptocurrencies for eternity" or something like "New technology developed to track every single crypto trade/transfer inconsiderate of various methods used to manipulate". So until then hold your beer.

Well technically, anything is possible but its highly improbable to see bitcoin going down as low as $19xx. The bottom that we have seen is $5k-$6K so I doubt that we can go lower than that.

It's hard to even think about such prices, especially because of how Ethereum managed to reach $1300, and Bcash even $3000. If Bitcoin goes below $9000 it is an instant buy for me, that I can guarantee you.

I am sure that a lot others think like that as well. On the other hand, we shouldn't take any level for granted at this point. The market is too thin to consider +$10,000 levels to be safe, and too thin to not fall below it.

As long as we stay below the $10,000 mark, I'll convert 20% of my monthly salary to Bitcoin. In other words, the longer we stay below $10,000, the better it will be for me. If it goes even lower, then it's even better.

Hard to say. Although it seems unlikely now, everything is possible in cryptocurrencies. However, I do not think that investors or miners would allow such a large price drop. Although further drops are possible.

those who invested at so higher prices they must have control on nerves and patience they will never ever sell their coins at loss and wi;; never do any nonsense act they will simply wait for the rise and their profit will come to them soon.

I think you are trying to intimidate some of the investor here so stop making this kind of post it can't help,. 'cause there will be another panic selling  if you continue posting this kind of fake news.  'and as the matter of fact its impossible to happen mate, just imagine if the value of bitcoin falls to that price its a worst price ever right? And it means there's was no enough demand of supply in the market ,  so think first before you post it 'cause its impossible to happen nowadays , and indeed there's still a lot of people loving to risk on bitcoin, so its IMPOSSIBLE!

Seriously those people who invested when it was up on $15,000 can think of something like selling on loss, but of committing suicide, I hope it won't end up with that miserable decision. 

haha are you kidding me? if bitcoin drops to $ 1900 it is certain that many will commit suicide and it is certain that many feel depressed because the money they have stuck there and suffered huge losses when they sell it. that's it impossible

Not all news at accurate, there is no such news that are accurate when it come in bitcoin, they say they say, but it doesn't happen. If its happen then for me it is a good news, because we can buy bitcoin in a small amount.

most likely yes and most likely not! indeed bitcoin and other coins is a very turbulent asset, the current situation is so dramatic. up and down prices now still look normal. but, if you think bitcoin will reach $ 1,900 on what basis do you say it? call it a day is negative, we have to keep thinking positive.

Hitting at the bottom with that scary $1900 USD is a big buzz in the cryptoworld if that happens. We know that no one can predict the price of bitcoin but that prediction for me is too much and for sure the small time buyers will lose their confidence to buy. It shows a failure to the hard work of everyone who supports bitcoin from the beginning. Although, bitcoin price is far from that value but this type of prediction can trigger a panic to the quick hands. 

I do not think it will be possible to go down in the near future, as seen from bitcoint enthusiasts getting more and more then the number of needs is increasing, it says down if it is no longer a sale and can be said to be reduced, but I think $ 19000 is still large enough

Who even said this? I doubt this will ever happen.

Not saying that it won't for sure, but it'll be a surprised to all, even the bears if it does happen.

Let's consider this: Bitcoin started out around $15k+ or so at the start of the year. It dropped to $6k and people were surprised as hell and they bought it all the way up to $12k once again. If bitcoin does go down to $1.9k, which is just 10% of the value from the year's start, then that's going to be some dump that has never seen in the history of crypto before. Not even in 2013.

You probably heard this from some ultra-bear who just hates BTC in general. Anyhow, if it does hit $1.9k, it'll be bought up to at least $5k in no time.

Just don't give enough speculation without any basis or who is the person saying that since we are forum here we just need proof with our speculation. Anyway I don't that it will happen for me it will reach $19k again but not $1900

maybe nobody can predict exact amount  go down we shoukd knows there not impossible that of that prediction bitcon down to 1900k usd or more, but i still beleive bitcon are very strong so far so good the are still playing from 10k to 12k usd for this month of february hoping thats price increase a litle bit in this coming month.

Yes, exactly my opinion. I dont think this year will be as good as last year in terms of gains. Media scared the shit out of too many people. Lots got burned heavily in january and february. It will take a lot of time to bring those people back into the market

I do not believe this will happens, and I would not want to see it. The year may not be as good as last year, but $ 1,900 is too low level. I do not think so. 

Are you sure you mean  $1900 or did you mean $19000? I believe you meant the second option.



First, the forecasts are not guaranteed, they are the assumptions that people make and unhappily these exaggerated optimistic assumptions have made many invest in bitcoin and when the price falls these people are complaining on the social networks. finally asking your question: I think that the price will not have big increases like last year and also will not have huge drops to the point that we reach the levels of  $2000.



well, although I do not like bitcoin cash I should say that if bitcoin increases prices then altcoin cash will also increase in price as all altcoins increase in price when bitcoin increases in price

I think you’re confusing Bitcoin and Buttcoin Cash. Roger Ver was hoping his pet cryptocurrency would reach 1900 this year. I think that’s unlikely because he used up all the money he needed to wash trade Buttcoin Cash on spamming the Bitcoin network. Now it’s unlikely Buttcoin Cash will reach 1900 pennies in value by the end of 2018.

In my calculations bitcoin is unlikely to drop to as low as $ 1,900, and $ 6,000 is the lowest and worst that bitcoin has ever experienced. From the case study it has awakened bitcoin users to hold it for long enough to protect the bitcoin value from further deterioration.

It can happen but the probability is likely 10%. Why? Come on, billions of dollars are being spent to generate Bitcoins every single day. Please think.

Yeah I find that price highly unlikely, crypto has come a long way in the past 12 months and has gained a lot of attention. At this stage it seems highly unlikely something like that could happen

its impossible to happen right now the market is now recovering from the dip which started happening in january i cant see bitcoin will drop that heavily it will probably take months before it drops to 1.9k if it happens there will be alot of dip.

I think that forecast must have come from tea leaves in the bottom of a cup as there is no rational explanation for Bitcoin to drop to such a low level as $1,900 this year. I would venture to say that we have already seen the low in for this year when it dropped to  $6,200 in the first week of this month.

Not going to happen, basics of investing, no one with a basic clue of investing would of bought at $1000 and said ya know what, it's been to near $20k, been stable at $10-15k then during the biggest correction we've had stay over $6000 to now say during a time of growth ah f*ck it, I'll short it down to $2000

The whales are the only ones capable of dropping it that low and it would be financial suicide for them to do it now, even a pleb investor who holds enough to impact the market will want profits, selling off slowly to prevent a short will always bring you the most profit, people with money are just not this stupid when it comes to money.

Any news you read about such low prices is just media FUD, remember the media is controlled by it's top investors and owners, if the top investors are related to banking or the owner of the media company dislikes BTC, it's completely in their interest to put out bs articles like this.

Any one with half a brain knows this will not happen and sees it for what it is, it may be different to most markets in it's volatile nature, but the basics of investing still apply.

The only way this could happen is if it gets banned world wide, yet all we see this year is a push for soft regulation to prevent money laundering and the likes, I know some wealthy people who won't touch it due to lack of regulation, I've had discussions with them and they are very excited about the idea of regulation and have said they will jump on if such things are put in place.

I don't think it can really happen, actually that's impossible to be happen, I'm fully believe in Bitcoin and  this year will be the great time for bitcoin. There are prediction that Bitcoin will be reach $50k this year.

Nah.. I don't think so. Last year was bitcoin's year because it reach up to $20k which attract more investors to invest in bitcoin. On January this year, it fall down to 8-10k due to its correction but I don't think bitcoin will ever go down up to $1900. I think it will stay up to 6k dump but not lower than that. There are lot of people now investing in bitcoin and sooner or later, bitcoins price will rise again just like what's happening every time.

I think it is impossible to see BTC price less than 5k $. I suppose BTC price will be 25-30 k $ till the end of this year

This might happen because there is no impossible in this world. If the past bitcoin worth of cents of dollar able to raise up to 20k usd, and 20k usd dumped to 6k, see there's no actual assurance that bitcoin will just keep on pumping, it will experience crashes too. But lets not hope for that

No, most likely we will not see such a price this year, because bitcoin shows good results in the development of its technologies and more and more people are investing their money in bitcoins.

Who's forecast, where is it, what's it based on?

I haven't done any technical analysis or forecasts but I don't believe bitcoin will reach such a value and here is why: 2017 was a great year for bitcoin and it gained a lot of publicity and adoption, we saw a big pump at the end of the year which many attribute to large insitutional investors entering the market. If that's the case then this is a sign that bitcoin is nearing adoption and soon we'll have many smaller investors coming to boost the market. It doesn't make sense for bitcoin to fail when it's currently in what I consider to be its strongest position since its inception in 2009.
