Exactly, Gyft does this and more + 3% points back
So if you have to buy something from amazon(or elsewhere) you now know you can get 3% discount Smiley

Nice, I thought Gyft was only for in-person gift cards. I will definitely use it on Amazon from now on.

Forbes suddenly hears about some random company eGifter deciding to accept Bitcoin, yet apparently missed the memo on Gyft all this time!

I think everybody will eventually accept bitcoin.
Bt the road towards that goal is still very long though.

Anything to cut the banks out.. Gyft is a start for allowing you to spend your gains at many retailers untaxed. There are some unmentionables that seems to be an okay way spending bitcoin. I recently got my favorite band to work on integrating bitcoin to their website they will be selling all their shwag and tickets, they have a large online presence, live streaming of concerts... It will happen soon.

You need to constantly talk about it to friends, strangers, business owners, etc, transfer a few dollar worth of bitcoin to friends and family.

There are issues that need to be dealt with to allow bitcoin to become a sprawling untethered currency.
