Here's a tip for those using faucets utilizing CoinHive: some antivirus programs block execution of the script, and flag it as a virus or PUP (Potentially Unwanted Program). My AV does this, and I have to whitelist coinhive and any other sites running it (e.g. Moon Bitcoin, CoinCrunch, BitFun).

Grin Grin Grin I love this idea but you should use cloudcoins instead- I switched my sites from coinhive (tried cryptoloot too... it's straight up stolen coinhive code) and am making about 20% more... coinhive takes an insane 30%, and cloudcoins miner is better too.

Have you got a web address for cloudcoins? When I google it I come up with loads of sites about a crypto of the same name.

Thanks for the replies. There were some issues with coinhive.com last week, which were fixed. I'm currently taking no commission -- 100% of the mining reward from coin-hive.com is converted to bitcoin and paid out to miners. If enough users start mining, I will eventually take a commission to pay for bitcoin transaction fees.

Yes now is working. Idea is interesting, but not so much payments was in past...
Do you advertise your project?

Yes, though the payouts will get more frequent as more people mine, so the reward will get spread out between different people.

You leave it running whenever you can. When the reward gets big enough for a payout, it will be paid out to a randomly chosen bitcoin address. You don't need to be running when the payout happens.

So just one person gets paid each day, kind of like a lottery?

How does this work? Do we leave the miner running in the background and hope for a payout at the end of each day?
