maybe its true, because most of the people who hangout online in their social media, they are posting a lot of topics about bitcoin and some other topics are promotions on bitcoin or bitcoin related topics, some of the comments are wants to know/learn about bitcoin because of its huge return in profits. so many people are getting more interested in bitcoin and some other people who already meet bitcoin has now bitcoin fever, like me i dont want to step out side of my house without reading some topics that related in bitcoin, and some other source of income that involve in bitcoin.

There is no single person on earth who haven't heard of bitcoin.
Everyone is talking about it, it's all over the news, everyone is buying it, price is dramatically increasing.
It's like gold rush back in 1848.

So why aren't we calling this bitcoin rush?
You know, in 20 years from now it would be funny to say - yeah, i bought/mined bitcoin during bitcoin rush back in 2017 Cheesy

not agree with you in the part "There is no single person on earth who haven't heard of bitcoin. "

bitcoin known by a few number of people only less than 10%-15% use bitcoin

yes bitcoin have massive future and may make deals using satoshi.

It does seem like a fever that was probably seen in the gold rush but this digital rush does not show any signs of slowing down. As long as the whales are holding the price will continue once larger amount of bitcoin is been sold we will see significant price falls. At the moment people are holding.
More people are starting to mine alt coins driving the increase in them also.

Bitcoin is not a fever, at least not like gold rush back in 1848. Bitcoin is still in its childhood and became the most profitable investment right now.

I think we are still far from bitcoin being a fever. Although more and more people are finding out about bitcoin and crypto in general, when you look at all the people around the world, people who know about bitcoin is a fraction of a fraction. So we have some way to go yet.

Yeah, even thought we have gotten much higher profile in the media, does not mean that adoption has paced at the same rate. its something trending in the news, because the price is pretty remarkable at this time, and it makes a good talking point. and consider, despite the fact that more people obviously know about bitcoin now, its still pretty hard to buy bitcoins.

Most people in the United States dont have a stock portfolio, and while it is slightly harder to purchase a stock than btc, EVERYONE knows what a stock is.

Awareness does not equal adoption always.

I believe you are only exaggerating saying that everyone on earth has heard about bitcoins. The thing is a lot of people are hearing about bitcoins but a lot have not yet gone beyond the point of hearing alone. They are hesitant because of many reasons. Therefore we cannot just jump into bitcoin rush because we have not yet gone to that point.

A lot of people are still don't know what bitcoin and cryptocurrency is, and most of them are still don't believe on this kind of technology. However, I believe that time will come, bitcoin will become one of the powerful currency that recognized by an ordinary people, for now lets just start spreading the good new about this technology, and that little things will surely matter in the future.

And imagine what would people say who actually bought/mined bitcoin in 2010. They would probably laugh at people who are now getting into bitcoin in what you called "bitcoin rush" era.
But the important thing is its rising, and it will keep on rising.

If you really think everyone knows bitcoin your dead wrong. To be honest we are just the minority if you based it in worlds population. To be honest if you asked around here at my work place it will be rare to find someone who actually knows Bitcoin and other people who heard about bitcoin does not care about it specially in my country.

Yes, Bitcoins price are rising everyday and it is all over social media and mass media but still as of now only one percent in the population ate invested on bitcoin or crypto currency. This is the reason that bitcoin and altcoins has still a huge room for growth.

Some people still don't know about bitcoin, here in our country there are a lot of people still don't know about bitcoin. They haven't heard bitcoin if I didn't told bitcoin to them, they are asking me how to have bitcoin, maybe big investors got interest with it because of the price.

There's a lot of people who haven't heard about Bitcoin still. You're dramatically overestimating how many people (in the west) pay attention to things of financial and political nature. A majority of people only pay attention when it is election time or when they have heard something from someone else that impacts what they're experiencing in their life.

I don't think we're in a rush stage yet, we might have passed it but we might have also still some way to go. Lots of volume and new people getting involved will be the determining factor, and a large amount of people probably think that Bitcoin is far too expensive for them to enter into Bitcoin and they have no chance to make money on the market now. Which we know is wrong but they may not.

Yes now is bitcoin is popular and even now in small society bitcoin is known. It is maybe because of the impact of bitcoin bubbled for a short period of time this year end of 2017. Bitcoin is now called as a fever because of popularity in news, internet and even i the different website bitcoin is advertise. this 2017 is the most memorable year for bitcoin because of fastest rising of it and well spread interest in bitcoin community and crypto world. Now bitcoin is the most successful year unlike on the fast year of bitcoin and hoping that it will continue in this coming year 2018.

Maybe or maybe not. If someone can accurately tell how many users use bitcoin then I may agree to it with provided supports.
Bitcoin can be known globally, and we don't now which country do spread the word of cryptocurries which greatly influences adaption or simply ignored by many.
In our country, I think it's starting to attract many given that many newbies here in the forum are my fellowmen ( just an observation ). Or maybe some of them are alts so still not accurate enough to prove anything.
Prices do make some points that it did grow I guess.
