Yeah, but you don't know what's what until some survive and some don't. And even then you still don't know how the system will continue to evolve. Otherwise the process itself wouldn't be necessary. In other words, you can't derive conclusions from the theory itself.

On a more romantic level though, I agree.  Smiley

Charles Darwin said the "survival of the fittest" is a central factor in the process of evolution. What exactly did he mean by that? He makes it clear in his book The Origin of Species: "It is not the strongest of the species that survive, nor the most intelligent, but the ones most responsive to change."
