I'm kind of doubting how can this be possible (i.e. for those using a top secure non-custodial Bitcoin wallet, and not an anyhow Bitcoin wallet created by a random tech firm, because concerning how to Bitcoin network works. Or abi are you trying to also say that the fake transactions will also be recorded on the Bitcoin blockchain? Because for me I just think this can only be possible with a hacked wallet, and not just a random Bitcoin wallet, as Bitcoin has proven to have a top security.

I for like make you go into detail on watin really happen on the experience with this one but, e be like you skip that one and still, I feel say I get some idea of this sort of scam shah though, I no know say them don tag am with any name or that name even.

E Dey next to impossible for this kind of thing to happen without you firstly being lured to a website. Website way, them fit edit anything just as they please, just like scripts. E no matter if you create account with them or not, it’s their website and just as the authority on the website fit suspend account, they can do a lot on it as well.

One thing you gats know be say, bitcoin mo get fake. Once its send and confirmation starts, nothing like retrieval. So, in getting payments from person, you gats ensure say, the transaction get at least one confirmation.

Someone is trying to help you out and you're laughing. Based on the question you asked one can easily conclude that you are indeed a newbie with zero knowledge about bitcoin and cryptocurrency. Take Hyphen's advice, it will help you.

Do you think all those scams we hear about money entering and leaving one's bank accounts is possible with Bitcoin? Well... I don't know if any of such tool is in existence but based on the knowledge I've about Bitcoin, I can tell you that a scammer can only use it on a newbie by showing the person the transaction on the bitcoin flasher app. Once Bitcoin is spent on any genuine Bitcoin wallet, it cannot be reversed and all transactions are written on the blockchain.

Of a truth I never hear of Bitcoin flash, but the way the world dey now, I see no reason to doubt. The world is full of innovation and creativity and anything is possible especially in this part of the country. If bank that is secured can be hacked or given a fake alert, I see no reason to doubt. one thing we should know is. to every way in there is also a way out. Let us just be careful. No man is an island of knowledge.

How the scam works
90% of the persons who fall victim to this scam are actually vendors (those into buying and sales of coins and gift cards) and the scammer would request a p2p transaction for the sales of his Bitcoin and after sending him your wallet he would credit you, and if your are not lucky enough you will send your hard earned money to a fraud.

How person fit take know or avoid ahn?

the truth of the matter is that the only secure way to avoid this scam is to run your transactions in a coin exchange wallet though it is not a p2p as third party is involved but this is the safest because transaction will only reflect in your exchange wallet when there is at least one confirmation of verified transaction from the block chain, but if you use any random wallet like block chain wallet the fake bitcoin transfered  will end up reflecting  in your wallet, I strongly recommend everyone to use an exchange wallet when conducting a business transaction don't mind the transaction fee, most scammers would use transact fee as an excuse for business to be conducted on p2p wallets though, I am not certain if all p2p would confirm the fake bitcoin but for prevention purpose avoid them for transactions.
We learn every day from this forum. At least I don grab this info wey you pass so on how not fall victim of bitcoin flash. I just d think how the bitcoin flash go d possible for peso wallets since you go confirm for your wallet first before any other thing go happen. But since you don bring this update on how it is been done, if I wan run any coin exchange deal through p2p, na to use exchange wallet address. Em better to stay at safe side than doubting sae bitcoin flash no fit happen for your side because as em d so, tools d to run woroworo give peso for crypto. Na make peso no fall victim to any

I have been into this industry over some years now, but I have not heard about this new system of BTC flasher scammers are using to scam people in the exchange market because, if you follow the due process in the process of the transaction, it will be difficult for any traders to use fakes alert to pay for your coins. You have the right to contact your account officer to know if such amount of money has entered your account before releasing your coins for buyers which, is among the things that made many people to love BTC transaction. I no fake alert is very common in some countries, but very easy to identify if someone is using fake alert to transact with you by checking your account balance at the moment before releasing the goods once the transactions is genuine. I will advise you not to be an hurry to release the money without you confirm the coins by checking your wallet very well to see the amount of BTC he or she has send to your wallet before releasing the cash.

There three {3} ways you can get bitcoin into your wallet. One way to get it is decentralized Exchange (DEX), and another one is Centralized exchange (CEX) while the last one is per to per system. And the most common ones are the two last ones. When you use any of the above mentioned then the fake alert would not come to your way. The fake alert comes to those who dey use social media link. And those links are from scammers so once you click them and try to buy bitcoin from those guys sorry na be your na.

Well I never see but I don hear am and to avoid dat fake alert make you dey use well known exchanges and persons to buy your bitcoin.

@Makus Thanks for the contribution. But I saw a post that said it is even possible on centralized exchange.

Not sure if it's possible on centralized exchange due to its secure transaction nature eg binance exchange is highly secure and cannot be used for flasher scam transactions.

No offense, but I laffed
Because I found it funny since I have read
The thread @Hyphen recommended.

This is the first time o am hearing of such name like bitcoin flasher and i am curious to know how that works, i know of fake alart and even the so called fake alart if you are smart enough, it wont take your 5 seconds to discover which is fake alart from real alart from your bank.

I believe same thing also, so just like the first comment pointed out several ways for you to verify Bitcoin transactions, let me add this to it, if anyone sends you Bitcoin, all that you need to ask to clarify things is to demand the transaction Id/harsh, that way you can verify the transactions on the blockchain.
That's what I thought until I found this
Quote
Yes, you can track the live transaction on blockchain explorer using TX ID, Hash, Block, or Bitcoin address
so wanted to confirm how true it was.
The flasher enables the transaction to reflect
on the blockchain and wallet
But remains unconfirmed
I didn't understand how that was possible
Hence the thread.
@Makus Thanks for the contribution. But I saw a post that said it is even possible on centralized exchange.

Actually this is a very interesting topic that needs not to be neglected, made jest of or treated as less important because, Bitcoin scam using Bitcoin flasher is a very technical scam known to be very persuasive in which is mostly conducted on p2p transactions.

I can tell you that a scammer can only use it on a newbie by showing the person the transaction on the bitcoin flasher app.

NOTE : both professionals and beginners are victims of this scam, as the scammer will not only show you screenshots of his sent BTC but you will also confirm the received Bitcoin in you wallet which will automatically disappear after some days

So if the Bitcoin transaction is a fake one, its records won't be available on the public ledger called a blockchain., this is why Bitcoin transactions are more secure compared to the traditional payment system.

I haven't heard of bitcoin flasher before this is my first time of hearing it. Only if a software has been created for scamming purpose which is to flash bitcoin. That is why you need to read more and be security cautious of your coins. The momenta transaction has been confirmed in the blockchain it remains permanent there and can't be deleted. What I only know is that one can send you bitcoin and in the process which the transaction his reflected in your wallet but not confirmed, he can stop the transaction after he knows that you have paid him. That is why it is advisable for one to confirm that his transaction has been successful before paying for whatever transaction that you did with bitcoin.
