math09183, from a security point of view, it is not advisable to use such outdated versions of applications when it comes to crypto wallets. I can't say anything specific about BlackBerry 10 OS, but I see that support is stop at the end of last year according to what is written in this article.

I found a link that might help you with your phone, maybe someone out there can help you with good advice -> https://forums.crackberry.com/more-your-blackberry-10-phone-f306/

I just realized I may try to look for an old original Bitcoin APK, so I will try this one:
https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/bitcoin-wallet-developers/bitcoin-wallet-2/bitcoin-wallet-2-5-20-release/
and then I will go forward as long as 4.x is supported.

Just checked my phone and this one was installed, it ran but I didn't get very far as it was really slow: https://download.electrum.org/3.0.6/Electrum-3.0.6.0-release.apk (the actual phone was slow).

https://download.electrum.org/3.3.8/Electrum-3.3.8.0-release.apk

You can actually download it straight from electrum's site if you want to try with that site first. I never had play services running on my old phone while using it.

Thanks!

That version of Electrum only supports "Requires Android 5.0 and up" as what I see on their page on the play store. So it won't work.

Try a lower version of Electrum but lower than 3.3.4 is no working server or not connected online. But still, you can use them if you want to use a lower version when making a transaction you will need to use either coinb.in to make a transaction and sign the transaction through your wallet on the app.

You can download them on Electrum download directory from here https://download.electrum.org/

Can you try this too https://github.com/bitcoin-wallet/bitcoin-wallet
It's an old school wallet and I heard it still works on the low version of Android(4.2.2).

I have found this topic: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/btc-wallet-for-blackberry-os10-1350356
but the application (I used it some time ago) is no longer available.
If you have apk which would run on android 4.2.2 (this is the version supported by BlackBerry10 Android Runner) and does not require Google Services, I would be happy to give a try.

Is it compatible with modern android apks? You could try with a new version of electrum of bitcoin wallet by Andrea's schildbach.

If you need compatible copies I can find some on an old phone (4.0.1) electrum still ran on it fine with the latest update since I last used it (about a year ago).

Do you know if there are chances to have Bitcoin wallet working back on BlackBerry 10 smartphone? In the past there was a wallet available to download, but is gone.
And I guess that side load of an old app (apk for android 4.2) is not the best solution.
