This is very strange, i'm think here with a high probability can will be SCAM. Do not send him money first!
He is trying to get an idiot who will send him an email where your forum rank doesn't matter or people in the forum won't be able to interfere of warn others from the user's tricks. A lot of scammers have used this method and newbies or people without accounts searching for these kind of transactions can find them.
