That nuclear laboratory is in Sarov, about 400 km east of Moscow.
The thread you mention is about mining in the Leningrad region , 700 km north east.
A nuclear laboratory is just like the name says , a laboratory for testing and research , it's not a power plant.

It's simple, both news are correct and you're one of those conspiratorialists that must draw some crazy parallel between events that have no connection.

Next time do a better job at actually reading the news.

So many fud about everything connected with bitcoins. I don't wish to spread it, I saw something that I wish to share with you people, and I'm interested in your opinion.
News from today https://themoscowtimes.com/news/russia-busts-crypto-miners-at-secret-nuclear-weapons-lab-60460 Russia Busts Crypto Miners at Secret Nuclear Weapons Lab

Like they found out that some scientists are mining bitcoin with some super computers.
And take a look on news from October and thread here https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/russia-is-turning-the-nuclear-power-plant-into-mining-field-2285872
Are they talking about same secret nuclear power plant?
Funny how spinning news works, how people use things to create fever or panic for anything, not just bitcoins. They are using methods proven from before, nothing new here.
So what you think people about this, what is real and what is fake about this?

Edit: Stompix you are right, I saw nuclear plants and I started to make connections in my head.  One news I saw on mobile and other on computer. Sorry, I'm locking the topic to not spread spam.
