There are so many things we are asking about bitcoin, sure we have doubts and worrying if this is really going to last long since its supply is only limited. Nonetheless, whatever barrier or problem bitcoin will face in the coming years ahead, there is this one irrefutable fact that bitcoin will survive anything.

Well, it very tough to measure though, what's for sure is that there are two possibilities it would work and the other way around. Well, believing on your guts does give you the edge of winning here but enough knowledge is sufficient. Well, no one knows if bitcoin would rise not even Satoshi. But there are people who could manipulate the market. The thing here is that we should monitor on what might come next.

There is someone who claims to be from the future that says that BTC would be IT in the nearest time, and as a matter of fact, that the price of BTC is going to end this year in an incredibly great amount. How could you believe that people think of Bitcoin as a perishable thing? do they really? I don't think so. We cannot predict what will happen to bitcoin, maybe next year it will bull run again , many people will buy now because they believe that next year will be their luck year again, or maybe next year we will facing a bear market again , no one knows what will happen. For a not so good in trading I cannot read the chart so well, but if we want we can study the trading patterns for us to understand and somehow can predict what happen, we need to learn that in this world nothing could be impossible and all the things we are facing are uncertain. But for me? I hope bitcoin will lasts maybe not forever but for a longer time.

Yes and people will continue to mine it until around the year 2140. By then the block reward will be around 1 Satoshi. Even then bitcoin transactions will still have to be validated. So even after all 21 million Bitcoin are mined. The miners will still continue to mine and validate each and every transaction. They will still be able to mine the transaction fees though. So even once they are all mined there will still be a reward for mining. The question then will be will Bitcoin still be used by then. Or will it be replaced by a bigger better coin with more use cases? Who knows maybe the year 2140 the real Satoshi will come out of hiding and sign a transaction proving his identity!!! HA!

That or Craig Wrights great, great, Grandkids will be talking about how there great ancestors created Bitcoin. Or another Faketoshi will come out of the wood works!

In my opinion, btc will be here in 10 years but it may not be used for the daily transactions. It always will be the king and respected but there will be other projects which may excess the marketcap of bitcoin. New innovations may be applied to bitcoin but these may not affect much because of the technology of it. There will be more developed and more open to changes coins.

No one can really tell the future, no can tell you for sure that bitcoin will be the future or it will represent a massive aspect of everyone's life for the next 10 years anything can happen in that span of time, but the one thing that is sure is that the world is always advancing, there is a constant technological advancements and new things coming out to make our lives easier and better, and if we look at bitcoin we see it an improvement a new better alternative for fiat money, a currency suitable for the area we live in which is the digital age, and for the recent years we have seen the crypto currency concept being tossed around as an option and it has become inevtibale that it will be used in the future, so if bitcoin is not the next world's currency it is defiantly setting things up for future technology that we are all eager to have.

Yes, Bitcoin is here to stay. Bitcoin is a radical technology based on blockchain and it is here to change the way we store our data. I am not sure that it is going to stay the same way as it is now. Because today BTC is more of an investment and trading commodity and people buy it and don't use it instead they store it anticipating higher profits. In future blockchain & Public ledger technology will pave the way how economy works. We might not shift entirely on bitcoin but governments might bring their own currencies which could be stored in public ledgers and not bank accounts. These might be regulated a bit more than what bitcoin is now. But they will increase transparency for sure. So I don't know about the price but bitcoin will surely be here in next 10 years it's not going anywhere.

It's hard to imagine the price of bitcoin reaching $ 1 million because then the bitcoin market cap value will reach tens of trillions of dollars. It might sound pessimistic but I think we have to be realistic because if the market cap value of bitcoin reaches trillion dollars it can disrupt the existence of other investment markets and also the abundant supply of dollars in the world

I don't know how many more years we have to wait before we actually gonna witness Bitcoin hitting 1M dollars in the future. We might be too old or dead during that time, who knows? But we have to be more realistic here since what matters now is the present. We never know if Bitcoin would be the top cryptocurrency or is it still being use when we gets old.

A lot of the theory suggest that Bitcoin would exist in the future, but none of that can be guaranteed. Nobody can tell you that Bitcoin would always be the dominant coin out there and for Bitcoin to "work" in the future, adoption will have to increase. The reason for that is simple, because Satoshi Nakamoto developed Bitcoin to reduce the Block rewards for miners over time and the miners fees will then have to replace the Block reward to incentivize people to mine bitcoins in the future.

So, if there are no Block reward or very little bitcoins as a reward for mining in the future and transaction volumes does not increase, then Bitcoin might be in trouble. There are many unexpected surprises in bitcoin, how do you believe that market will be bearish in future. If you were here before 2017 surely you also did not expect that bitcoin will touch exceptional ATH, well that's what might happen in future, unexpected things like 2017 ago. Hype and bubbles can come at any time, maybe when some whales want it back.

If you mean whether bitcoin will still be existing till ten years, I will say yes to that simply because crypto is still young and growing. Well, I don't know if bitcoin will still be the first but it will be existing.

I cannot seem to see any reason why Bitcoin will suddenly stop "working" in the next 10 years. After a decade, I can feel that Bitcoin has already surpassed the worst of obstacles. It has been declared dead and buried countless of times; it has burst; it has been declared illegal and banned in a lot of countries; it has been labelled all kinds of things, and yet it is still here. I mean, can anybody or any government stop it? It's coming from them: it's an "unstoppable force."

And for as long as there are newbies like you joining the community, it cannot have any other direction but to the moon. Wink

Indeed, we can't really assume and assure the possible things that might occur in the future but I believe that it will continue on giving us opportunities. Bitcoin will rise no matter what , we all know that bitcoin had already faced a lot of problems and it was able to surpass it.

So.. Bitcoin already works and it's still being continuously improved, so the chances are high that it'll continue to work in the next 10 (or more) years too.

When we talk about bitcoin future there are two things that will come to mind. One would be bitcoin future which is an automated trading platform backed by a group of venture capitalists used by traders to trade Bitcoins and other cryptocurrencies. The second one would be bitcoin futures which means the price prediction of what will be the value of bitcoin in the future.

Correct me if I am wrong, I do believe that you are referring to the second one I mentioned and that is the future value of bitcoin. There are many speculations as to what will be the value of bitcoin next year , 3 years from now, after 5 years or 10 years. But one thing is clear now since the bubble and hype is already over we can assume that we will be seeing a bearish move on bitcoin on the coming years.

What do you mean by "going to work next ten years"?

If you are a beginner, please read through the forum, there are so many discussions already if bitcoin will still exist in the next years and so on. No one can tell you this with 100% whats going to happen within the next 10 years.
