I use plenty of gold/silver/platinum too.

But they are too clunky to use online.

Bitcoin is the perfect solution.  Eventually it will have enough critical mass to make it less volatile.  In the meantime I need a way to buy future/options to cover my positions.

As always with uncertain times why don't you buy Gold/Silver? There are plenty of people trading it in Bitcoin right now so maybe that's your best bet until a more long term solution is found.

The fact that Bitcoin is so volatile right now highlights the need for some kind of hedging solutions.

I would like to do more business in Bitcoin, but the risk without hedging make it risky.

I can't give a loan in Bitcoin for very long, without someway to be able to hedge somehow.

Surely this problem is being worked on or solved?

I haven't look for awhile.  Anything new?

Are there any Bitcoin futures/options exchanges with enough liquidity to make them functional?  Something with low enough transaction fees that would make hedging practical?

The volatility is what makes there be essentially so few methods to trade futures.
