With CME allowing Bitcoin Futures on its platform, does that mean I can go on E-Trade and trade Bitcoin Futures once they are available? And if that's not the case then where? Sorry for the dumb question,I've been out of the game for so long that it's like a whole new territory.

As far as I know, CME with offer bitcoin futures contracts by the end of the year. That's all we have heard so far. But if we would based on that assumption it will likely that we can trade bitcoins in the near future.

The name TradeStation https://www.tradestation.com/ is one of the first brokerages that will offer such features. So we need to monitor and see how it pans out. But bookmark that site so that you(we) can get updates as well.

No, mate are all noobs in here specially that it hasn't been done before. Although I have experiences doing trading in stocks as well. So we will have to wait and see how it goes. On a side note, this could be one indication why bitcoin price is soaring today.
