Does anybody know where the big sites (primedice, just-dice, prc dice, bitdice.me etc) have their servers?
The owners of these sites would probably have a lot of knowledge about this topic.

Not too sure but I think it all depends what country that gambling site is from. If the country they're in identifies BTCitcoin as a currency than I am sure they come under the jurisdiction otherwise it's just play money.
Ye it would be good to know in which countries running such a site is legal.

For the USA, running an online gambling site is probably illegal even though the proposed tax status of BTC is "property". It will be amazing to see the way things change globally, the next few years.

Hey there,

So with the bitcoin gambling business flourishing as of lately, i was wondering what the legal situation regarding online gambling with cryptocurrencies looks like.

Are online gambling operators using bitcoins required to obtain licensing, register a business and pay taxes over their income?
We all know authorities are having a hard time regulating bitcoins, but on the other hand are always eager to penalize/tax such profitable markets.
What is more, the jurisdiction may vary according to where the site/server is operating from.
This for example is a recent article about the situation in spain http://calvinayre.com/2014/12/02/business/spanish-treasury-says-gambling-sites-need-license-to-transact-in-bitcoins/.

Are big sites like Primedice, Satoshidice and Just-dice actually running a legal business?
I find it hard to believe they are flying under the radar, taking into account how much income they generate monthly.
