This is am old stuff but always comes in different name and domain it was meant for newbies who did not understand the nature of mining, as long as the owners of this script made money it will exist because buying a domain is very cheap and you can host it in a $3 a month shared web hosting.

At this point in time we are now matured and will not easily fall to this kind of script and deception, it's too good to be true you know how people spend thousands of dollars to mine cryptocurrency, and you will get free coins just like that, if people still falls to this, then the blame is on them for not doing proper research.

There are always newbies coming so the cycle repeats. I wouldn't be surprised if those addresses had amassed several transactions.

I wonder if it is being pulled off by another site. I think they have a program to auto send to show people that they are being trusted by some of the user's and perhaps they forgot to turn the program off maybe.

I find it funny how by using this service we are able to mine blocks within just few minutes. This solves all the problem of miners really  Grin Cheesy.

Also it might be possible that the transaction they have are executed by themselves. Ponzis pull this type of stuff all the time.
You can not only mine blocks in just few minutes but also you can include transactions which are in stuck and at the same time become transaction accelerator with help of those godsend bitcoin generators lol.
The problem isn't that such scams exist, problem is that people fall in it, as you know when there is demand, there is also supply. If person knows how to use bitcoin wallet to pay them, then I believe he would check bitcoin's price at least during his lifetime. This is absolutely enough to understand that such services are scam but no, they want easy money but finally they get easy lose as a result.

They do this very often and still working. Recently there was a fake one using the name Elon Musk.  (almost 1k twitter accounts involved)

These come up out of nowhere all the time and are often quite successful because they have the blue Verified symbol next to the name. What they do is hack somebody else's verified account and then change the name to "Elon Musk" or "Vitalik Buterin", or whoever. Pretty crafty.

I've seen something similar. If I'm not mistaken, it was Ethereum airdrop. So scammers guaranteed you'd receive 1 ETH but you had to send them 0.01 ETH. Almost the same scheme, avoid such offers!

Dam so this is still alive??  first encounter this back 2015 I knew this is a scam based on early people they scammed, only newbies fall for this and they have to pay before they get their rewards, if it is to good to be true, it's probably not true.
Hey, I remember that I've seen this before in the last year and in January, but I think the domain was different than in this thread. But I don't try to deposit because I know that it is impossible to get the double amount from the investment.
Besides that, I have a bad experience in the past with double or something like that, and I always stay away from those websites. We could stay aware of a similar website, so we don't get scammed too.

How stupid do you have to be to fall for that?
Believing WWE is real level of stupid.

I had to check the site out and this just come up on the chat

Omg do you how much shit I going to buy with this BTC, fucking thanks man I owe you one.

This is not even a scam, this is what people do out of their boredom. Believe it or not, had I been very newly introduced to bitcoins in 2010, I would definitely try this shit out because why not? Everyone was so crazy about making satoshi's then. But in 2019 no way!

we left the chat running for a little bit and here you can see their bots working/reposting the same message that you saw.

While I am surfing the forum, read that someone who fell for a scam site called Bitcoin Generator

Who convincing that they will generate bitcoins for you for free, they didn't ask any money initially but for me it looks like phishing so let the people decide what it actual intention of this scam site.

We did a test and this is the result below = this is a scam:

Bitcoin Blockchain = 88 transactions received https://www.blockchain.com/btc/address/1HDeKXoPyX27pWJQqhH77xzcX2zMVL5oNY?filter=2

and ONLY 3 sent out (maybe to his other addresses) https://www.blockchain.com/btc/address/1HDeKXoPyX27pWJQqhH77xzcX2zMVL5oNY?filter=1

Repeated messages, here is one example of many:
