Anyone know of an exchange where these coins can actually be deposited?

In the meantime, if you want to do an OTC trade for anywhere from 100-1000 coins, PM me.

The worst name ever in the history of crypto.
Haha, this is the real laughing stock... Maybe I missed dozens of dollars of bitcoin so I don't think Bitcoin is God. If Bitcoin is God, does it prove that the cryptocurrency market is a manipulated market?

I am just coming across this which says a lot, so I don't think that this is actually a legit coin, but then again there are a lot of coins out there which people have not heard of but they are listed on exchanges. So you might want to check for it on coinmarketcap, if it is a a half good coin at least you are going to see it listed there which would be good and you would see if it is listed on any exchanges

No this coin is obviously a scam coin and I have not come across any exchange that has actually listed the coin. I think these are the kinds of coins that are intended to trick people into thinking that they are investing in a coin and then it turns out that they are investing in a scam coin. Anyway, stay away from the coin, there is no way to actually liquidate it

I actually assumed that they need to not think the following plan, there are actually lots of disadvantages plus shortcomings to begin this, I'd prefer to maintain the following option and then to take a look at it has the being successful that is certainly never found for instance pretty appealing plus farsighted a person. Nonetheless, I actually admire these folks to get these need plus finding more complicated.

I think we're gonna need a new fork to get a move on the market. After a divine call fork, ascension must come. joke aside, there hasn't been a fork for a really long time. maybe we're waiting for this to happen.

I think that it is not necessary to categorically negatively treat different branches of bitcoin. Let the experiment, let them prove that their coin is better. This is the only way we can move forward and develop the crypto currency. While only bitkoin cash has a certain success. These branches are needed to push the bitcoin to perfection, otherwise it will stop at all in development.

Well, I don't like forked coins because they are just distracting the bitcoin blockchain from its course of development and thus it also diversify the investment of current investors and puts it into the forked coins. I am 100% sure that whenever the bitcoin fork happens then most of the market cap is temporarily eaten up by the different blockchain and thus it puts the current bitcoin in damaged situation. This should not happen for the faster development of the original bitcoins. Sometimes I do feel that these devs create the bitcoin fork on purpose, so that they can just raise the funds via it and have it!!! Thats bitter but may be true thing. So choose wisely before you invest in the fork coins.

I'm not investing... I only want to sell what I have  Grin

The latest Bitcoin fork, "Bitcoin God", will be promoted and mined by chinese mining mogul Chandler Guo:

https://bitcoinexchangeguide.com/bitcoin-god-ico-god-token/

Quote
We have yet another bitcoin hard fork to announce. It’s called Bitcoin God, or GOD.

The hard fork project is being led by Chinese bitcoin and blockchain angel investor Chandler Guo, who released a message on WeChat stating his intention to fork off from core on December 25.

In a follow-up tweet, Guo explained that he chose December 25 because it was “symbolic of me giving candy to all bitcoin holders.”

Responding to an inquiry on Twitter, Guo confirmed that the project is “real”. Guo explains that GOD will be forked off the main bitcoin chain at block 501,225, which is scheduled to occur on December 25. There’s a total supply of 21 million GOD coins, and there will be no pre-mine.

What’s the difference between Bitcoin God and regular bitcoin? Why do we need yet another hard fork? Guo claims that “the profit from POS mining will be distributed to all Bitcoin God users.”

Guo has not gone into further detail about how that profit sharing scheme will work. However, bitcoin hard forks are quickly becoming the new ICOs. Super Bitcoin, Bitcoin Platinum, Bitcoin Diamond, and Bitcoin Cash Plus are all being released over the next few weeks. Some of these projects have legitimate support from a team of developers. Others are scam projects with no apparent purpose.

Ultimately, there’s virtually no information about Bitcoin God available online at this time – but we’re still a few weeks away from launch. Stay tuned to see if Bitcoin God (GOD) is a real cryptocurrency project or not.

Is anyone bothering to get all these coins? How are you doing it? it is honestly incredibly annoying having to move your cold storage each time a new fork happens. I think im going to wait for all the forks to happen, then move my cold storage just once and access them all. The problem is, by then, most would have crashed...
Really? Bitcoin God? This should be the last Bitcoin version if you’d ask me. I mean, what could be higher than God right?! It’s just crazy how many versions a coin or token should have...lol! But hey, more coins/tokens, more chance of earning! Cheers!

Experience shows that the forks of bitcoin and even some alts very lag behind their parents and can not even compete with other coins. It's just some kind of mockery, why create a coin that nobody needs even with time.

You can regard this as a nice bonus for BTC holders. For example: Bitcoin GOD costs 130$ now  or Bitcoin Gold, which price is 310$.

If you think you can't be bothered, then don't. That's kind of what we're all hoping for actually. That all these forks will be considered useless and a nuisance, so that in the end these moguls and whales with thousands of Bitcoins will stop seeing forkcoins as an instant money making machine.

Imagine, even if these fork coins end up worth less than 1 % of Bitcoin's price, that's still more than $150 of free money for every Bitcoin they own. It's pretty disgusting, really, and makes all those people who hate cryptocurrency say "told you so". We need to stop supporting these useless forkcoins.

Perhaps its purpose to attract investors with such a name or has run out of names for a crypto. Grin Hopefully there is someone who will give the latest developments about God.

Does anyone know how legit is gate.io and if you can explain to me how they handle the chain splits? Do I just send BTC there before the block number is reached and then I can freely put my BTC back in my wallet?

Basically, yes.
If the exchange supports the fork and gives out the forked coin to BTC holders, then just hold your BTC on the exchange until after the fork and your forked coin has been issued, but some exchanges will list the forked coin but not give out the forked coin to BTC holders (Cryptopia is such an example).
One exchange that has issued all of the previous BTC forked coins to its customers is Binance. Bittrex sometimes does too but check with the exchange first before depositing your BTC.

Do you know if I have LTC on gate.up and convert to BTC and hold. Do they give me the GOD? Or do I need to bring the BTC out of Gate and deposit back to get the GOD?

Will Cryptopia support the Bitcoin God https://www.bitcoingod.org/ fork on the 25th December, they did not support the latest forks, 'Bitcoin X' and 'Super Bitcoin' but Binance did. So I think, to be safe, I'll move my Bitcoin elsewhere.

EDIT: Just had a look at Cryptopia's policiy on Bitcoin forks and it is unlikely they will support the fork - Bitcoins moved.

Oh, really you are right! I have met the same information today. The name of new fork sounds very strange for me — why God??? However, they say GOD fork is planned for December, 25. Happy Christmas with new Bitcoin God!

''Not to be confused with Bitcoin Jesus, Bitcoin God is the true alternative form of Bitcoin to be made on December 25th. The goal is to introduce this fork at a block height of 501,225 on the Bitcoin network,'' two days ago I had time to read it ,, more or less language like that. But it seems cold people respond to it.

The next one will be Bitcoin GUO))
Seems just like they wanted to make more money using the name of the Bitcoin. So this dependency from the mining pools wanted from time to time make more money therefore make different hardforks is still the main problem for the bitcoin community.

The latest Bitcoin fork, "Bitcoin God", will be promoted and mined by chinese mining mogul Chandler Guo:

I am waiting for several forks, before I will move my wallet anywhere.
How to gain those new coins: Transfer first all your funds to another wallet. Bitcoin itself is not needed to gain the new fork coins. Only the wallet's history.  Then import your wallet into a wallet, that supports the split ( I used coinomi for BCH and Bitcoin Gold).
BTW: Also in december seems to be a split of Bitcoin Silver. And BCH seems also to have new forks. But I dumped them already.

Before when there are forks, those few early ones I'm very excited to have those free coins.

But I don't know why I'm having this type of feeling that this is crazy, making forks as if they want to make something reliable and the name is totally absurd.

I know people who are religious here will be offended and there is even one coin before that has also a terrible name, I'm talking about jesus coin.

Are they really serious of contributing to crypto world?

Oh No! Now Gods are entering the crypto market, How hard that could be far traders? Lol Jokes apart but one thing I like about this fork other another than their competitors is Zero Premine. Though the coin may be good or bad but the zero Premine thing is kinda cool!

Actually what you are trying to say here bro. I didn't get it. If there any hard fork in the normally people goes to convert it as a multiple altcoins. That is howcmy friends usecto split the bitcoin to multiple alts.
Even you will find the increase of block size so you will find transaction we are doing will be confirmed faster because of that effect.
Last recent hard fork waschappen along with the segwit activation but most recently it was fail.

With so many forks done by some greedy people of the crypto world, it seems like they will be the ones responsible for the fall of Bitcoin; rather than any government. And seriously what a stupid name to have for a fork.

Between I don't have Bitcoins (just some satoshis on freebitco!), so there is no chance of me getting any forked coins!

On another note, I think we all are also responsible directly or indirectly for these suicidal forks, as we pump and dump these coins.

I third this. Will not support anything related to this coin. What was the development team / CEO thinking? I don't pretend to be a devout Catholic but when blasphemous things like this come up its a big red flag for me. It's not even funny nor is it witty or in any way appealing to the market.

I've been asking around, trying to get more information about them. All the projects are fairly obscure. I'm intrigued by GOD because of its affiliation with Chandler Guo, who is considerably more well-known than Jack Liao (Bitcoin Gold's main backer). Terrible name for a coin, though.

Personally, I'm happy to claim the coins if there is hype/value. But only if there is an apparently safe wallet, after I've moved the BTC to safe new addresses, and on a junk PC with no access to any crypto. The first condition (safe wallet) seems to be a pretty high bar for some of these forks. Indeed, hopefully we can dump them before they crash entirely....

With so many hardforks will be coming in next few weeks later. And then i can't get the purpose of these hardforks. It likes the bitcoin will be the same as the money printing. This bitcoin god will be the same as another altcoin just like NEO because with its POS system. The only winner will be those having a lot of the bitcoin in their wallet.

yeah i am getting all of them. I just have all my bitcoin sitting an on exchange and they have been crediting me each time a fork comes. i know people don't like leaving coins on exchanges but i have mine split between 3 exchanges so even if they get hacked or steal my funds in one it is highly unlikely to lose all three! Just get good exchanges that actually credit you for your coins like binance, kucoin and bittrex. But for the paranoid security conscious people this system won't be of much help i guess.

I had not heard of this one, yet ... and I agree, the name is horrible.  It’s almost like they are trying to get name recognition with Bitcoin Gold .. Gold/God.  I too am waiting until there are a few descent forks to claim before moving my BTC.  Fees are too high to keep moving it.
