Is there any safe way to claim my Bitcoin Gold? I heard about a lot of scammers which scammed ober 3 Million USD with BTG fake wallets.

Yes.

First, move your BTC and BCH to a new wallet/address.  Then import (actually sweep) your private key(s) into coinomi.

Hey all,

I recently start a Youtube channel all about cryptocurrencies. Today's video is about checking how much Bitcoin Gold you have in your wallet.

https://youtu.be/LFiwSIq2k8g

For those that don't have time to watch, the gist is, the balance checker on Bitcoin Gold's site doesn't work properly yet. It listed my BTG balance as zero. Anyone see a correct balance?

http://bitcoingold.org/

I only copy/pasted in my public key. The checker is provided by MyBTGWallet and there's a way to get BTG by typing in a mnemonic passphrase. But no way I'm doing that just yet...

Don't ever copy your mnemonics/private keys into a website just to check your balance in a fork coin. That is just asking for someone to steal your hard earned coins. At least clear your entire bitcoin wallet and sweep the balance into a new address if your'e looking to do this.

The best way is to check up on the block number they did the snapshot and just go through your addresses one by one, honestly.

Whenever you find an address with a btg balance on the snapshot, just import that into coinomi. Simple.

Did they remove the posibility to check from their website?

Yes.
After the hacker running mybtgwallet website made off with a lot of money, the tool was removed from the site.

You can check your balance at:

I guess you held it there longer than I have. I moved my Bitcoin right after the fork but the checker on their page still list 0 BTG for me.

If you want to check if your BTC address have any BTG balance due to fork, the balance checker on their official site is working fine for me. You just need to put your public address there.

Yeah good point. I think people should be really careful with typing in their private keys into random websites
