Both coins have the same symbol.
How the hell could that have happened ?
The prices are completely different so people who know wont confuse both of them but this is a severe issue and shouldn't happen.
Imagine if Apple and Appliance had both the same AAPL stock exchange symbol ?
Try to buy such coins always from a reputed exchange so that they would be following some ethics and you might not get scammed.Till now,i have not bought any forked coin and have only sold them after getting from an air drop.I think that BTG is a totally unorganized project and most of its coins are already premined.

That is crazy.. These exchange are shit as well for letting this happen. Everyone knows BTG is bitcoin gold. Cryptopia is very dodgy, so I'm not surprised. I am sorry you went through that. Were you able to sell? I always double check the exchange ticker ever since the bcc/bch ticker confusion. Good luck!

Why is cryptopia dodgy? I never had major problems with them, at least not yet...Tongue
